BetMGM Sportsbook is offering hockey fans some extra peace of mind every weekend throughout the 2021-22 NHL season. If you place an NHL moneyline bet on Saturdays and Sundays and your team loses in overtime, you will earn a refund of up to $25 in free bets.

All you need to do is , opt into the NHL Overtime Insurance promotion, and make a moneyline bet on a Saturday or Sunday NHL game and if your team loses in overtime, you’ll receive your stake back up to $25.

This offer is available for all existing BetMGM users.

How the BetMGM Overtime Insurance Promo Works

Taking advantage of the BetMGM Hit the Ice offer is easy — just follow these steps:

  1. to your account at BetMGM.
  2. Opt into the NHL Overtime Insurance promotion on the BetMGM promotions page.
  3. Place a moneyline wager on any NHL game on Saturdays or Sundays.
  4. If your bet loses in Overtime, you’ll be refunded your stake up to $25.
  5. Receive your refund in free bets within 24 hours after your bet settles.
  6. Only your first NHL moneyline wager of the day will be eligible for the promotion.
  7. Free bet is valid for seven (7) days after being credited to your account.

Once you receive your free bet, you can use it on any sporting event (it doesn’t have to be an NHL game) over the next seven days. The value of your free bet (i.e. your stake) will not be included in any winnings and can not be settled using the Cash Out feature.

NHL moneyline bets placed with Free Bets, an Odds Boost Token, or a Second-Chance Bet will not qualify for this promotion and will not be eligible to receive the refund.

Free bets are limited to one per person, per qualifying day during the promotional period.
