Caesars Sportsbook Hands-on Review

The Caesars Sportsbook app makes it very easy to bet, as does its desktop counterpart. New Jersey grants me numerous options to bet and I will list the pros and some of the cons of Caesars Sportsbook.

Back in 2018, Caesars Interactive US LLC entered into the NJ arena, covering both sports and casino.

Caesars Sportsbook is fully operational in the following states — New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Indiana while being powered by William Hill in West Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan, Iowa, and Colorado. This includes casino locations in all these states as well as New York, Iowa, and Mississippi. Retail sportsbook locations are available in New Jersey, New York, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

Caesars Sportsbook features live betting and many traditional wagering options, such as Moneylines, Totals, Point Spreads, Player Props, Parlays, and more.

One of the more likable features of Caesars Sportsbook is the ability to take advantage of some of the best pricing for odds in the industry.

Is Caesars Sportsbook Legit?

Yes, Caesars Sportsbook is fully legitimate. Caesars is made up of Caesars Interactive US LLC which covers all sportsbook and casino operations. Each state in which they operate must be within the state’s rules and regulations. For example, in the state of New Jersey, Caesars Sportsbook is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

My Caesars Sportsbook App Experience

Please note, when searching for the Caesars Sportsbook app, it is called the Caesars Casino and Sports App in the App Store.

I enjoy the relative simplicity of the Caesars Sportsbook app. Downloading is easy as you just need to go to the App Store, search, and download. That’s it. If you are an Android user and can’t find the app in the Play Store, you can download it directly from the Caesars website.

Once logged in, the general betting functions are pretty much the same as far as the top tabs and as one scroll down the site. The app features the familiar buttons on the bottom that tab out in greater detail like the bet slip, account, all sports, the home button, and yes, the casino. The app also has a logo on top to switch from sportsbook to casino and vice versa.

Caesars will send promotional emails, but I also recommend checking the app daily. Promotions are prominently displayed on the promotions tab and easy to follow and opt into. Though it appears that Caesars does not provide odds boosts.

When you want to place a bet, the process is pretty easy to follow. Caesars Sportsbook is one of the better books when it comes to updated odds.

The nice thing is when you click on an event to bet, you will get even more options — mostly of the traditional and live betting varieties. There are many spreads, props, and so much more. They are also easily laid out to avoid confusion.

Caesars Sportsbook features a fairly reasonable-to-follow interface when it comes to the app. The desktop version is quite simple and easy to utilize. When I place wagers and am crunched for time, I do not want to be concerned with all sorts of pop-ups, extra frills, ads with sound, and so on.

Caesars Sportsbook gives me chances to peruse quickly then leave just as fast. It also allows me to look around to take advantage of line changes, prop differences, and more. One final thing is that Caesars will log you off a little quicker than most sites. Quite a few times I have timed it out to be less than ten minutes.

Again, the app is one of the best to use and follow. It may not have the bells and whistles of some of the other sportsbooks, but nonetheless, it keeps things simple.

Should You Bet at Caesars Sportsbook?

Caesars Sportsbook attempts to keep things as simple as possible while offering a myriad of options. And honest, their $5,000 risk-free bonus is unmatched, so for that alone, it is a good idea to sign up for this sportsbook.

The site may not be as fancy as some of the others out there, however, it is that relative simplicity that helps.

Customer service can be lacking sometimes but it is, in reality, better than most sites out there. Caesars, through their rewards program, strives for better customer service and does reach that goal more often than not.

The company is backed by Caesars Interactive US LLC and has been around for decades and decades. Their retail location in New Jersey is one of the better ones as far as efficiency and access to live events where one can enjoy the atmosphere of the casino and so much more.

The layout is pretty good on the site — from easy and quick bets to parlay options and more. For myself, I look forward to NHL and NFL futures and can find them rather easily.

Some futures do lock early and Caesars does not quite have the props that other sites have. However, they are efficient and their bare-bones design helps when looking to make a quick wager.

The best thing to do when logged into Caesars Sportsbook is sometimes just exploring and taking a look. When on the app, it is especially simple to do so and convenient beyond words. One of the things I lament is that there is no early cashout feature.

I heartily recommend taking advantage of the casino bonuses. In June, just by logging in, one has a chance to win up to $15,000 in casino play. Also, any first-time deposit of up to $1,000 will receive a 100% casino bonus match.

Again, look around and explore your options. The casino part of the app and desktop alone takes some time but the Sportsbook is one of the easiest to peruse and it is from Caesars — a name that can be trusted.

  • Props

Rewards System

Caesars Sportsbook and Casino do currently have a rewards system or VIP tier in place for bettors and casino users. There are a total of six tiers from Caesars (Seven Stars is by invitation only).

Tier Levels:

  • Gold (0+ Tier Credits)
  • Platinum (5000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond (15,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond Plus (25,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond Elite (75,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Seven Stars (150,000+ Tier Credits)

Once you register and link your accounts, everything will be updated within 72 hours. The loyalty program allows you to collect tier and reward credits.

They can be used to fund hotel stays, shop, dining, entertainment, and much much more. Just play via the casino and bet away to collect the reward and tier credits alike.

Customer Service

Caesars Sportsbook does not require one to be logged in typically for customer service requests but it helps. Once logged in, you can go to your accounts tab on the app and find support that way.

On desktop, just scroll down to the bottom of the page. In small print, you will see the support link. Just click on it.

Caesars Sportsbook then goes to a small screen that includes searching options for accounts, casino contact, and frequently answered questions. That support button typically is in the lower left-hand corner. This sets up an automated chat that attempts to answer questions.

This includes a way for a representative to answer your request. They can call back, have a live chat, or leave a message often via email.

Times can be varied and the live chat option (is usually from 8 am ET to Midnight ET) does not always resolve an issue but is better than most betting sites.

I googled Caesars Sportsbook and their number is 1-800-986-9248. This matched up with the website and app as well. However, about a quarter of the time, I simply received a recording which put us back to square one in most cases. That is better than most apps and sites.

When making contact, most customer service agents would try to answer your question(s) and will resolve your issues almost every time.
