Caesars Sportsbook Review

EDITOR'S OPINION

Caesars completed the purchase of William Hill in August 2021, and merged the two brands in what is now a sports betting app fit for the emperor himself. The new William Hill styled Caesars Sportsbook blends the two gambling superstars in a way that will help bring the Caesars online brand to the stature that we have all come to know and love about their retail casino empire.

Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code Review

The Caesars Sportsbook can be accessed on practically any device that has an internet connection which includes a browser-based online sportsbook that can be accessed on your PC or Mac and via their mobile app on both iOS and Android-powered devices.

Both the computer and mobile app versions of the Caesars Online Sportsbook allow you to access all the standard features including checking lines, placing bets, making deposits and withdrawals, contacting support and much more.

Back in 2018, Caesars Interactive US LLC entered into the NJ arena, covering both sports and casino. The original Caesars sportsbook was, lets face it, pretty boring. No ingame betting, barely any props and alternative lines were few and far between.

With the 2021 purchase of William Hill, one of the most respected names in the world when it comes to online sports betting, Caesars is showing its dedication to becoming a force to be reckoned with in the US online sports betting market.

The new, and greatly improved, Caesars Sportsbook gives you access to hundreds of bets on almost every matchup, a full slate of daily promotions and a huge selection of inplay betting options. Inplay betting allows you to place bets while the game progresses, with constantly updating lines based on the action on the field.

The lines can be a mixed bag, as Caesars does not always have the best odds on spreads or moneyline, but there are a few gems mixed in to the 20 cent lines. Price shopping is a must to always maximize your profits, and sometimes Caesars will have the best lines, but other times it may be worth placing your bet at a different online sportsbook. You can always check our odds comparison page to make sure you are getting the best lines everytime.

Is Caesars Sportsbook Legit?

Yes, Caesars Sportsbook is fully legitimate. Caesars is made up of Caesars Interactive US LLC which covers all sportsbook and casino operations. Each state in which they operate must be within the state’s rules and regulations. For example, in the state of New Jersey, Caesars Sportsbook is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Caesars has previously run a Bet $20, Get $100 in Maryland, a bet $1, get $100 in Ohio, and many more.

This page will be updated if Caesars activates any Bet-and-Get offers in the future.

No-Deposit Bonus

Some US-based online sportsbooks will offer a no-deposit bonus, which is a reward issued to a new customer simply for signing up. Typically the no-deposit bonus is small, around $5-$20 bet credits, but free money is free money. Currently, Caesars does not offer a no-deposit bonus, but may add one in the future.

Free NBA Jersey Giveaway - EXPIRED

Unfortunately, this offer has expired, however, you can check this Caesars free jersey promotion to see what it entails because it may be back again for next football season!

Caesars Sportsbook Promotions

Caesars Sportsbook has a number of promotions that can be helpful for both new and existing users. Caesars continues to do MLB free play games under their promotion tabs, and added boosts and bonuses for other sports, such as first goal scorer in soccer, and team run total boosts in baseball.

Their NFL game and daily promotions are among the best in the industry.

Be sure to check out more betting promotions to get more value on your wagers.

My Caesars Sportsbook App Experience

Please note, when searching for the Caesars Sportsbook app, it is called the Caesars Sportsbook App in the App Store. The Caesars Sportsbook and Casino app is a remnant of what used to be but is still active in Pennsylvania as the new William Hill version is not yet available in certain markets.

I enjoy the relative simplicity of the Caesars Sportsbook app. Downloading is easy as you just need to go to the App Store, search, and download. That’s it. If you are an Android user and can’t find the app in the Play Store, you can download it directly from the Caesars website.

Once logged in, the general betting functions are pretty much the same as far as the top tabs and as one scroll down the site. The app features the familiar buttons on the bottom that tab out in greater detail like the bet slip, account, all sports, the home button, and yes, the casino. The app also has a logo on top to switch from sportsbook to casino and vice versa.

Caesars will send promotional emails, but I also recommend checking the app daily. Promotions are prominently displayed on the promotions tab and easy to follow and opt into. Though it appears that Caesars does not provide odds boosts.

When you want to place a bet, the process is pretty easy to follow. Caesars Sportsbook is one of the better books when it comes to updated odds.

When you click on an event to bet, you will get even more options — mostly of the traditional and live betting varieties. Once inside a particular matchup, there is a plethora of betting options that will fill any sports bettors needs to get in on the action. Whether you like betting spreads, props totals, moneylines or alternatives, there is no shortage of options for all the top betting varieties.

Caesars Sportsbook features a fairly reasonable-to-follow interface when it comes to the app. The desktop version is quite simple and easy to utilize. When I place wagers and am crunched for time, I do not want to be concerned with all sorts of pop-ups, extra frills, ads with sound, and so on.

Overall, the user experience is top notch. Easy to find your favorite matchups, place bets and trigger all the additional features of the mobile app. The one gripe that is worth mentioning is that when you navigate away from the app, you will be signed out and lose the spot that you were last at. This means if you go to check prices or do research on a bet, when you head back into the virtual sportsbook, you will need to sign in and find the bet once again.

Should You Bet at Caesars Sportsbook?

If we were talking about the Caesars Sportsbook that had initially launched, we may steer you in a different direction but the acquisition of William Hill is a game changer for the future of Caesars Online Sportsbook. William Hill has been around for over 100 years, and made their way online in the early 2000s throughout Europe, and is among the top online sportsbooks in the world.

In a world of Kambi-powered sportsbook, William Hill pricing gives additional options for price shopping and will occasionally give you better moneyline odds and spreadlines compared to the competition.

One aspect of pricing that William Hill does excel is their prop bets pricing and not in the traditional manner that you may think. Caesars will give the best odds on one side of the bet and terrible odds on the other. This can help with hedging larger bets on the site or if you happen to like the positive side of the bet, get you the rare + odds on a prop.

Caesars has also made it clear that they will not be limiting bet sizes or turning action away. While some sportsbooks may have a reputation for not wanting big or winning bettors to wager on their site, Caesars has an open door policy and welcome the action.

Caesars Odds

Caesars has odds that should meet your expectations when compared to other betting sites. You may find some inflated prices in the rare occasions, but for the most part, you should feel satisfied with the odds at this sportsbook.

You’ll find everything you need in terms of selection, including a robust props and futures section. Caesars also consistently will provide you with odds boosts on selected events within a variety of sports.

Best Caesars Betting Odds

Let’s look into the five major North American betting markets to explore how Caesars odds look for each league.

NFL

You’ll find a number of odds boosts each week in the NFL. Player props include several outcomes like passing yards, interceptions, fields goals, and more. You also have the option to select a player to score three or more touchdowns, which is not often available on other platforms. Caesars excels with their NFL betting odds.

NBA

Caesars has some novelty odds boosts for the NBA. For example, they had a “Showtime In The Garden Boost" (Max $100), where you can take the Knicks to win (+250) and Jalen Brunson Over 19.5 Points. If you chose these two events in a regular Same Game Parlay, you would get +181 odds, so this is some nice value that you can come to expect at Caesars.

MLB

Baseball features a diverse selection of bet types, including No-Run First Inning (NRFI), total bases, and pitcher strikeouts. You can get some good deals on moneyline, such as in the World Series where the Phillies were -123 and Astros -111 in Game 4. You don’t often see that small of a difference in odds between favorites and underdogs, so that’s a major positive for Caesars.

NHL

The NHL has a more limited selection of odds boosts, but there are a number of player props that include powerplay points and shots on goal. You also have the option to select alternate lines, such as the Penguins to win by three goals against the Sabres (+550). The one drawback is that you can’t choose a goalie to get a shutout.

College Sports

College football and basketball lines are posted early, so you’re able to put in your favorite wager well before game time. The issue here is that there isn’t much of a selection of player props. However, you can find some 25-cent differences in money lines, such as Appalachian State (-155) vs Coastal Carolina (+130). It’s also great to have the ability to bet on smaller programs.

Leagues You Can Bet On

There are a number of sports one can bet on from all over the world via Caesars Sportsbook.

  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Football
  • Golf
  • Hockey
  • MMA
  • Nascar
  • Soccer
  • Tennis

Bet Types

Caesars Sportsbook has many of the props and parlays one has grown to love and includes the following options:

  • Spreads
  • Moneylines
  • Parlays
  • Props
  • Totals
  • First Half
  • Second Half
  • Quarters/Periods
  • Futures

Rewards System

Caesars Sportsbook and Casino do currently have a rewards system or VIP tier in place for bettors and casino users. There are a total of six tiers from Caesars (Seven Stars is by invitation only).

Tier Levels:

  • Gold (0+ Tier Credits)
  • Platinum (5000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond (15,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond Plus (25,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Diamond Elite (75,000+ Tier Credits)
  • Seven Stars (150,000+ Tier Credits)

Once you register and link your accounts, everything will be updated within 72 hours. The loyalty program allows you to collect tier and reward credits.

They can be used to fund hotel stays, shop, dining, entertainment, and much much more. Just play via the casino and bet away to collect the reward and tier credits alike.

Customer Service

Caesars Sportsbook does not require one to be logged in typically for customer service requests but it helps. Once logged in, you can go to your accounts tab on the app and find support that way.

On desktop, just scroll down to the bottom of the page. In small print, you will see the support link. Just click on it.

Caesars Sportsbook then goes to a small screen that includes searching options for accounts, casino contact, and frequently answered questions. That support button typically is in the lower left-hand corner. This sets up an automated chat that attempts to answer questions.

This includes a way for a representative to answer your request. They can call back, have a live chat, or leave a message often via email.

Times can be varied and the live chat option (is usually from 8 am ET to Midnight ET) does not always resolve an issue but is better than most betting sites.

To reach customer service, simply call 1-800-986-9248.

When making contact, most customer service agents would try to answer your question(s) and will resolve your issues almost every time.
