The 2024 NHL regular season is in full swing, and there’s no better way to sweat every slate than with an NHL parlay.
Every weekday during the campaign, I’ll dish out my best NHL parlay. And if the slate is large enough, I’ll also include my favorite same-game parlay.
There are six games on tap for Friday, Dec. 6, so let’s try to light the lamp with my best NHL parlay today.

Today’s best NHL parlay is a three-leg moneyline bet at (+183).
Let’s start with the New Jersey Devils (17-9-2) to defend home ice against the Seattle Kraken (13-13-1). New Jersey has been better on its travels than at the Prudential Center, where it has lost two straight and has a 6-5-2 record this season. However, given the Devils’ talent, there should be some positive regression coming their way. That should start tonight against a Kraken squad that is playing its third road game in four days after beating the Islanders 5-2 last night. The hosts haven’t featured since Monday and should have much more in their legs tonight.
Next, I’ll take the Minnesota Wild (17-4-4) to pick up a road victory over the Anaheim Ducks (10-11-3). Minnesota is on a four-game winning streak and has an extra day’s rest heading into tonight’s contest. The Wild have also been superb on their travels this season, earning at least a point in 13 of 14 contests and getting the full two on 10 occasions. Meanwhile, the Ducks have been below average at home, winning just five of 14 outings at the Honda Center. The visitors earned a 5-2 road win over the Ducks on Nov. 8 and should replicate that feat tonight.
To round out our parlay, I’ll take the Vancouver Canucks (11-11-3) to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets (13-7-4) at home. Columbus is playing its third game in Western Canada in four days and lost 6-3 in Edmonton last night, whereas the Canucks have had ample time off since wrapping up a six-game road trip in Minnesota on Tuesday. The Blue Jackets are 3-8-3 on their travels this year, so Vancouver is deservingly a heavy home favorite in a favorable situational spot.

My best NHL same-game parlay (+208) cashed for the second straight night, as Edmonton won by multiple goals at home against Columbus in a game that went Over the total. Let’s see if I can keep the momentum going and end the week on a high note.
For today’s NHL SGP, I’m zeroing in on the Metropolitan Division matchup between the New York Rangers (13-10-1) and Pittsburgh Penguins (11-12-4) at Madison Square Garden. This game will be the second between the rivals this season after New York opened the campaign with a 6-0 victory in Pittsburgh on Oct. 9.
The good feelings from that victory have long since vanished for the Rangers, who have lost six out of their last seven games and forced GM Chris Drury’s hand into action. Reports indicate that New York captain Jacob Trouba will not play tonight and could finally be on the way out after nearly a year of trade rumors.

Does that move ignite the Rangers? I’m not so sure. While Trouba hasn’t played anywhere near the level of his $8 million cap hit, this team’s problems feel bigger than one player. This move could be the first domino of many, so I’ll back the Penguins to win outright on the road. Pittsburgh has won four straight games, scoring 18 goals over that stretch — a welcome sight for a team that averages fewer than three per game.
With that in mind, I also like the Over in this contest. New York has left Igor Shesterkin out to dry enough that his numbers (3.05 GAA, .908 SV%) are taking a hit. The Blueshirts have allowed three or more goals in eight straight games, a trend that feels likely to continue given the issues on defense.
Back the Penguins and the Over for a nearly 4-1 payout.

However, if I put the Rangers in a parlay with the Colorado Avalanche (-115), who in this situation are short favorites to beat the Vegas Golden Knights, the parlay odds would balloon up to +168. Now, my $23 wager would return just over $38 in profit.
