It is Thursday, so it is time to put together some MLB parlays. We have hit a rough patch but are about to bounce back.

There will be two parlays here, one that acts as insurance for the other, with longer odds.

Without further delay, let’s get right into our best baseball parlays today.

All MLB gameday odds are current as of Thursday, July 7, at 10 a.m. ET from Caesars Sportsbook.

Today’s Best MLB Parlay (+173)

MLB Parlay Bets Today | MLB Parlay Betting Picks 7/7/22

The White Sox (39-41) have played better as of late, winning six of their last 10 games. They send their best pitcher in Dylan Cease to the mound against the division-rival Detroit Tigers (34-47). Detroit counters with Beau Brieske, who has a 4.54 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with only 46 strikeouts in 69 1/3 innings.

The Atlanta Braves (49-34) have been one of the hottest teams in baseball, going 26-7 in their last 33 games. They are rolling with Rookie of the Year candidate Spencer Strider, who has 90 strikeouts in only 59 2/3 innings. The St. Louis Cardinals (44-40) send out young pitcher Matthew Liberatore, who has struggled this year to the tune of a 5.66 ERA and 1.79 WHIP.

The Los Angeles Dodgers (52-29) are in a great spot at home against the Chicago Cubs (34-48). While Chicago has won seven of their last 10, Los Angeles has the pitching advantage with Tony Gonsolin (1.54 ERA, 0.82 WHIP) over Mark Leiter Jr.

Leiter, who is more of a de facto long reliever, eclipsed five innings only once this season. So go with the Dodgers in our MLB bet of the day.

MLB Longshot Parlay Bet Today

Today’s MLB Longshot Parlay (+809)

  • Baltimore Orioles Moneyline (-115) vs Los Angeles Angels
  • Miami Marlins Moneyline (+143) @ New York Mets
  • San Francisco Giants/San Diego Padres UNDER 6.5 Runs (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

MLB Parlay Bets Today | MLB Parlay Betting Picks 7/7/22

The Baltimore Orioles (39-44) continue to be a pesky team, currently on a four-game winning streak. They roll with Jordan Lyles, who has been much better at home, posting a 2.92 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. The Los Angeles Angels (38-45) send out young pitcher Chase Silseth, who has allowed seven runs in his last two starts, spanning six innings.

The Miami Marlins (39-41) are live dogs against the division-rival New York Mets (51-31) in this spot. Miami has won seven of their last 10 games, and I love the value here at +143 odds.

Marlins starter Daniel Castano has turned in quality starts in three of his last four, while Trevor Williams is coming off a rough outing, allowing five runs in 3 1/3 innings.

We will finish our longshot parlay in San Diego with a pitcher’s duel. The San Francisco Giants send out Logan Webb, who has allowed four runs in his last four starts, which span 26 innings. The San Diego Padres counter with Joe Musgrove, a legit Cy Young candidate, putting up a 2.25 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP with a 92:19 K/BB ratio.

Best MLB Parlay Sportsbooks

Baseball can be unpredictable, and when it’s not it generally isn’t a lucrative sport to bet.

Yet, there is a way to get better odds while also wagering on outcomes that are likely to hit: Parlay betting.

Parlaying multiple games or markets together is a great way to boost payouts in baseball. Instead of putting in $10 and winning $2 profit, you can combine a couple of short-odds games to get +100 odds or longer thus boosting payout.

Does some of that seem confusing? Don’t worry. We’re here to help. Here’s a guide to parlay betting in baseball.

What is a Parlay Bet?

A parlay bet is when a bettor combines two or more betting outcomes in a single wager. Parlay betting is beneficial for wagerers trying to enhance odds since multi-market bets are less assured than some single-bet wagers.

Parlay betting is made for events like midweek or weekend baseball games when there are 15 games every day. Maybe your favorite team is a big favorite at home, and you want to cash in but also love another lesser favorite’s pitching matchup that night. Combine the two and boost your payout if each wager hits.

Parlay betting isn’t resigned to only teams that win. If you believe your team will win but aren’t sure about another game’s pitching matchup, you can combine your favorite team to win (or moneyline) and bet an over/under in a second game.

How Baseball Parlay Betting Works

Baseball parlay betting is the same as parlay betting for any sport. You choose multiple outcomes that you think will be successful for the wager to “hit” or pay out. If one or more outcomes fails then the whole wager fails.

There are many ways to parlay bet on baseball. For instance, you can combine two moneyline bets — or choose two-or-more teams to win their games on a given night. You can combine moneyline with the run-line, baseball’s version of against-the-spread picks — choose one team to win and another to cover a certain number of points. You can combine a moneyline and a total, choosing a team to win and either over or under a certain number of points in a different game.

Or you can choose a Same Game Parlay, where you can combine multiple markets like the winning team, a prop bet and the game’s total number of points.

How to Pick the best Baseball Parlay Betting Site

Picking the best parlay site for your college basketball bet can be simple. The best site includes:

  • Odds: The best odds ensure the largest payout. It isn’t that complicated.
  • Better lines: If you want to dream up an against-the-spread parlay, find the site with the most friendly lines for your potential bet
  • Parlay insurance: Some sportsbooks will give bettors risk-free parlay bets or will reimburse parlays that lose by one single market
  • Parlay boosts: Sites offer promotions like odds boosts for certain parlays. Or some sportsbooks curate either multi-game or same-game parlays in a given day.

Baseball Same Game Parlays

Same-Game Parlays are when bettors combine multiple markets from the same event. Same Game Parlays are perfect for major single event days, like the World Series.

Dreaming up a Same Game Parlay involving a moneyline or spread, the game total or player props like a star’s strikeouts, total bases, anytime home runs or anything else is as easy as researching and tapping a few clicks.

Baseball Betting Strategies

There are several strategies when putting together a parlay in baseball. You can combine 3-4 huge favorites to get plus-odds on a number of likely blowouts. If you have the time you can dig into the numbers and craft a perfectly researched parlay.

You can try the lottery-ticket approach, where you make a 15-leg parlay with insanely long odds — that pays out more than many winning lotto draws. Or you can just randomly put together multiple teams and hope for the best.

The best strategy is to come up with a parlay you love so you won’t be second guessing yourself. You’ll never go wrong by betting on events you love.

Benefits of Betting Baseball Parlays

Betting baseball parlays is fun! It’s never been easier to track or watch baseball games at a time, which makes parlay betting even more fun.

Plus, parlays enable you to get good odds on two or more events that are likely to cash in, thus boosting payouts. Winning big when your favorite team makes betting baseball even more fun.

Why Choose More Than One Site

Choosing more than one site or app is integral when crafting your favorite baseball parlay. Is the parlay you love odds boosted on one site? Can you get a profit boost bonus? Or are there better
moneyline/spread odds that would produce a bigger payout?

If so, then that should be a major determining factor about which site to choose. It’s beneficial to sign up with each major sportsbook to cash in on new signup bonuses and also odds shop to max out the earnings.
