With the site making its presence felt in the United States, a Crypto.com prediction markets review is all you need to know more about the site’s offers and make the most of your experience on the site.

From economics, sports, finance, and even entertainment, there’s no shortage of options at Crypto.com Predict. In this review, I’ll explain how the prediction markets work and how you can start trading event contracts on the site. There are also some bonuses offered on the site, so I’ll take time to discuss that one as well. Let’s get started.

Is There a Sign-up Bonus on Crypto.com Predict?

I found no dedicated sign-up bonuses for new traders in creating my Crypto.com Prediction Markets review, but the site does host some promotions or contests from time to time, offering traders cash or crypto rewards to open trades at no cost.

The Market Master Challenge, for example, lets you collect participate in a leaderboard-style contest. Traders had to trade financial prediction contracts on various assets such as Gold, Crude, and WS30, with the top 20 receiving rewards the range of which depends on their place on the leaderboard.

The promo has since ended, but you can keep an eye out for something similar on Crypto.com’s campaign section. Simply log in to the app or site and check the campaign section to see if there’s any ongoing promotion you can claim.

How Does Crypto.com Predict Work?

Crypto.com Predictions Market, or simply Crypto.com Predict, is a prediction trading site where you can buy event contracts that represent predictions on real-world events. It features four major categories: Politics, Economics, Financials, and Sports, with Culture marked as coming soon via Hollywood.com. Note that Crypto.com sports predictions aren’t available in all 50 states. These markets offered by the site stand out, as there are plenty of options to choose from, with each coming up with a variety of events to choose from.

This just means you won’t run out of options to choose from in making predictions.

Crypto.com Predict represents its event contracts as alternate outcomes, each with “Yes” or “No” positions with prices influenced by live trading action. I found two contract categories by price during this Crypto.com Prediction Markets review: $1 and $10, each representing the probability that the actual outcome matches your prediction. Here are the various contract price categories illustrated in a table:

Edit
ContractMinimum PriceMaximum Price
$1$0.01$0.99
$10$0.1$9.9

Once the event happens as predicted, Crypto.com Predict pays out at $1 or $10 per contract, depending on the type of event contracts you purchased. However, Crypto.com Predict settles each of your contracts at $0 if your prediction comes out wrong, removing them from your trading portfolio entirely. There are fees for Crypto.com trades, but those vary by order category and size, so consider confirming when placing an order or using the Help Center.

How to Start Trading Event Contracts on Crypto.com Prediction Markets

Crypto.com Predict is currently exclusively available in the United States. The site currently accepts sign-ups from residents in the country and is geo-blocked for everyone outside the United States. If you’re currently within the state and above 18 years old, here’s a step-by-step guide to sign up for the prediction market site:

  • Click the banners on this page to open the Crypto.com Prediction Markets site.
  • Hit the Sign Up button at the top right to open the registration form.
  • Enter your email and add and verify your phone number.
  • Follow the prompts to complete your account setup.
  • Answer the identity verification questions to activate your account.
  • Fund your account and select any prediction trading market.
  • Select any trending question and start trading.

The site will let you enter a Crypto.com referral code when signing up, but you don’t need one to complete your registration.

In the United States, Crypto.com generally requires you to answer a few questions about yourself before letting you use its prediction market site. You may also be required to upload quite a few documents; don’t fret, those are standard requirements for any site offering derivatives, which is the category Crypto.com’s event contracts fall into on the regulatory landscape.

Also, note that you can use your existing Crypto.com account to start trading at Crypto.com Prediction Markets. Simply open the tab on the existing Crypto.com interface, answer the mandatory regulatory questions, wait to get your account approved, and start trading event contracts.

Fund Your Account With Cards, Bank Transfers, Crypto, and More

Crypto.com is a crypto prediction trading site, supporting numerous cryptocurrencies and networks; no surprises here, considering the name. Ironically, it only funds your trades with your fiat balance, only allowing crypto deposits using the “Crypto Funding” option, where you can switch some of your cryptocurrency holdings on the Crypto.com app for fiat to fund your trades.

Consequently, you fund your account by adding funds to your Crypto.com balance through supported fiat payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards, ACH direct bank transfers, wire transfers, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

If you’d rather fund your trades with some of your crypto, however, you’d have to use the Crypto Funding feature. It’s simple: just try to open a trade on Crypto.com Predict, and if the available balance on your USD wallet isn’t up to the amount required for the trade, the site will bring up a “Fund With Crypto” toggle, allowing you to convert some of your cryptocurrencies to USD right there and then. However, this only works when your fiat balance is insufficient.

Withdrawing from Crypto.com Predict follows the same procedure as withdrawing from your Crypto.com account. Settled trades return the funds to your USD balance, so you can request a payout using the “Withdraw” tab on the app. The minimum and maximum withdrawal requirements are $1 and $100,000, respectively, and Crypto.com doesn’t charge traders to add or remove funds from their accounts.

Responsive Customer Support With Detailed Help Center

Crypto.com Prediction Markets uses the same customer support channels as Crypto.com, which is good for new traders, as Crypto.com generally has okay support. One of my first observations during this Crypto.com Prediction Markets review is the detailed Help Center; if you’re willing to jump around a bit, you’ll hardly find a reason to message Crypto.com Predict customer support in the first place.

If you had to, however, expect quick responses, initially from a bot, which you can eventually sidestep to get more helpful, human responses. Although response times may vary depending on traffic, Crypto.com Predict customer service is overall helpful, especially when you rate the experience collectively with the Help Center.

Crypto.com Is Legit

Crypto.com Predict is a legitimate site in the United States operating under Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), a company regulated in the United States by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). CDNA holds the necessary licenses to offer event contracts in the United States, so you can rest assured you’re covered on the regulatory side of things. The site also comes with plenty of security measures in place, such as conducting KYC checks for new traders and using two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect player accounts.

Conclusion – Make Real Predictions on Crypto.com Prediction Markets

It can be said that Crypto.com Predict is definitely a great site to try out amongst other prediction sites in the United States. With a whole lot of markets to choose from, including flexible contract prices and a hybrid payment structure, you’re definitely in for a treat. The site also boasts responsive customer support along with some legitimate licensing to offer event contracts to traders in the US.

Built into the Crypto.com app, traders who already have an account can simply start using it for predictions, provided they’re at least 18 and reside in the United States. You can’t make trades with your cryptocurrency holdings, but you can sell them to fund your predictions, with each contract resolving to $1 or $10 if your prediction ends up being correct.

You can start trading event contracts on various real-life events on Crypto.com Predict today; just click the banners on this page to sign up and start trading today.
