The 2025 edition of NBA All-Star Weekend has finally arrived, set for the big game at Chase Center on Sunday, Feb. 16.
They’re doing things a bit differently this time around, where four teams will go at it in a mini-tournament, which will consist of three games in total: two semifinals and one championship.
Three of the four teams were drafted by TNT analysts Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith. The fourth team will be the winner of the Castrol Rising Stars competition, featuring former WNBA star and TNT analyst Candace Parker.
On this page, you’ll find a full rundown of the 2025 NBA All-Star Game Odds.

All NBA odds are current as of Wednesday, Feb. 12, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
- Team Shaq (+135)
- Team Chuck (+190)
- Team Kenny (+340)
- Team Candace (+850)
NBA All-Star Game Favorite: Team Shaq
Team Shaq NBA All-Star Game Roster
- LeBron James
- Stephen Curry
- Kyrie Irving (replaces injured Anthony Davis)
- Jayson Tatum
- Kevin Durant
- Damian Lillard
- James Harden
- Jaylen Brown
It’s no surprise to see Team Shaq as the favorite with LeBron James and home-town hero Stephen Curry on the roster. Not to mention other stars like Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant.
This team has several players who can create their own shot and win 1-on-1 matchups.
It would have been nice to have a big man like Anthony Davis, but Kyrie Irving gives them yet another strong ball-handler who will be tough to handle.
NBA All-Star Game Favorite: Team Chuck
Team Chuck NBA All-Star Game Roster
- Nikola Jokic
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
- Victor Wembanyama
- Pascal Siakam
- Alperen Sengun
- Karl-Anthony Towns
- Donovan Mitchell
- Trae Young (replaces injured Giannis Antetokounmpo)
What I love about Team Chuck is that it features two of the NBA MVP favorites in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic. Add in an athletic freak like Victor Wembanyama and this looks like a scary team.
Just imagine what could have been if Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t get injured. Not to worry, as Trae Young gives them elite play-making skills with sharpshooting from beyond the arc.
Team Chuck is my pick to win the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, so it’s easy to see why they’re second in odds.
NBA All-Star Game Underdog: Team Kenny
Team Kenny NBA All-Star Game Roster
- Anthony Edwards
- Jalen Brunson
- Jaren Jackson Jr.
- Jalen Williams
- Darius Garland
- Evan Mobley
- Cade Cunningham
- Tyler Herro
Team Kenny is one of the underdogs because it doesn’t have the same type of star power that we see on Team Shaq or Team Chuck.
But there are a ton of terrific ball-handlers and shot-creators like Anthony Edwards and Cade Cunningham. Darius Garland has been elite from downtown this season, which could also help in this tournament.
It will be interesting to see if Team Kenny can compete with Team Chuck or Team Shaq here.
NBA All-Star Game Underdog: Team Candace
Team Candace NBA All-Star Game Roster
Team Candace NBA All-Star Game Roster is to be determined. It will be the winning team of the NBA Rising Stars competition.
Here are the teams within that tournament:
Team Mitch Richmond
- Amen Thompson
- Ausar Thompson
- Bilal Coulibaly
- Scoot Henderson
- Toumani Camara
- Yves Missi
- Bub Carrington
Team Tim Hardaway Sr.
- Jaime Jaquez Jr.
- Gradey Dick
- Anthony Black
- Zaccharie Risacher
- Alex Sarr
- Tristan da Silva
- Brandin Podziemski
Team Chris Mullin
- Stephon Castle
- Dalton Knecht
- Jaylen Wells
- Keyonte George
- Zach Edey
- Trayce Jackson-Davis
- Ryan Dunn
Team Jeremy Lin
- JD Davison
- Dink Pate
- Mac McClung
- Reed Sheppard
- Bryce McGowens
- Pat Spencer
- Leonard Miller
The first three teams consist of NBA rookies and sophomores, while the fourth is of G-League players. I’d bet that Amen Thompson — an emerging star for the Rockets — leads Team Mitch Richmond to victory here, so that’s my pick for what Team Candace will look like.
Sportsbook Play of the Day
NBA All-Star MVP Odds
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+700)
- LeBron James (+700)
- Stephen Curry (+800)
- Anthony Edwards (+800)
- Victor Wembanyama (+1000)
- Kevin Durant (+1200)
- Jayson Tatum (+1200)
- Jaylen Brown (+1500)
- Damian Lillard (+1500)
It’s not surprising to see Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — the current MVP favorite — as All-Star Game MVP. I like targeting Stephen Curry at (+800) odds because he’s the home-town hero at All-Star Weekend with the game taking place in San Francisco.
