Joe Mixon is coming off a big game against the Bills in the divisional round where he rushed 20 times for 105 yards, averaging an impressive 5.3 yards per carry.
The Bengals are likely to look to establish the run a bit against the Chiefs, as they look to keep this high octane offense off the field.
With that in mind, let’s get right into Joe Mixon props for the AFC Championship Game.

Joe Mixon Receptions Prop
Joe Mixon: Under 3.5 Receptions (-148) at Caesars Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
This line is heavily juiced toward the Under for good reason, as the Bengals prefer to bring in Samaje Perine on third downs and two-minute drills because he’s better in pass protection.
Perine out-targeted Mixon 5-to-3 in the win against the Bills.
While we’ve seen Mixon play a big role in the passing game throughout the season (career-high 60 receptions), it feels safer to take the Under here, as 3.5 is a relatively high bar due to Perine’s usage.

Joe Mixon Rushing Yards Prop
Joe Mixon: Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-119) at Caesars Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
The Bengals were highly efficient in the running game against the Bills last week, as Mixon was able to eclipse 100 yards. When Cincinnati hosted the Chiefs in Week 13, Mixon missed that game, but we saw Perine go off for 106 yards on only 21 carries.
With the Bengals likely to give Mixon 15 or more carries as they try to keep Patrick Mahomes off the field, this prop feels like a strong bet. All we need is basically four yards per carry on 15 attempts to hit this one, which is completely attainable.
I project the Bengals to play with a lead in this game, as Mahomes is at less than 100 percent with his high ankle sprain.
