NFL DFS Christmas Picks | Underdog Daily Fantasy Sleeper Player Props To Play

Last Updated: Jul 14, 2023

Thanks for clicking on The Game Day’s daily fantasy football tips. Click to read our new Christmas NFL DFS picks page.

Want some excitement this Christmas holiday? Play NFL Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) this Saturday and enjoy the holiday games even more with your family at Underdog Fantasy.

Unlike the typical salary cap lineup construction format that most DFS sites follow, Underdog Fantasy has users build their own parlays by selecting Over or Under on up to five specific player props instead. The more props you select, the higher the multiplier on the entry fee.

Another unique game on Underdog is called “Drafts," where users enter a snake draft of 3, 4, or 6 people and choose a roster. Then, you compete against the entire pool, and if your team scores the most, you win!

Now that you understand how Underdog Fantasy works, it’s time to give you my sleeper draft picks and my DFS football predictions for the Christmas games between the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers, and Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals!

They don’t call me the “Head of Winning" at Underdog Fantasy for nothing.

Prop stats information for NFL DFS Week 16 picks are current as of Wednesday, December 22, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

NFL DFS Christmas Week 16: Underdog Fantasy Sleeper Picks

Users can enter The Merry Melee 4-person, 6-round draft and have a chance of winning a share of $25,000 in prizes.

Target these sleepers in your Underdog Christmas Draft.

Allen Lazard, WR, Green Bay Packers vs. Cleveland Browns

The Baltimore Ravens secondary keyed in on Davante Adams, which opened the door for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to put up numbers. However, MVS has entered COVID protocols, now opening the door for Allen Lazard.

Lazard bumps up to the No. 2 receiver spot, and he’s proven to be a reliable receiver for Aaron Rodgers to throw to. I expect the Browns to do the same to Adams in not letting him beat them, giving Lazard a big opportunity.

Nick Chubb, RB, Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers

This might not seem like a sleeper, but Nick Chubb is going under the radar right now. He’ll most likely be the least selected running back amongst Aaron Jones, Jonathan Taylor, and James Conner.

Baltimore had a lot of success running the ball against Green Bay, rushing for 143 yards. So if the Browns can potentially be in the game early, that would lead to really strong opportunities for Chubb.

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts @ Arizona Cardinals

He’s had a few down weeks, but the Colts are going to need Michael Pittman Jr. to be a part of the game plan. Indianapolis is an underdog with a high total, which bodes well for Pittman.

Pittman won’t be high on the list between Adams, Jarvis Landry, and other receivers, so look to snag the WR1 late.

Rondale Moore, WR, Arizona Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts

Christian Kirk is the feature receiver, while everyone knows about A.J. Green, so go with Rondale Moore as the sleeper. With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on Injured Reserve, Arizona should look to get Moore involved.

Whether it’s out of the backfield, deep down the field, or with different reverse-type plays, the Cardinals need to get the ball in Moore’s hands.

Users can parlay up to five NFL fantasy picks together to win up to 20 times your entry fee.

Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers

UNDER 95.5 Receiving Yards

The Packers should be in more of a run-game script this week, and the Browns should do the same thing the Ravens did in making sure Adams doesn’t beat them over the top.

Cleveland also has a top-10 defense, which doesn’t help Adams’ case.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts

OVER 115.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

Since J.J. Watt’s departure with injury, the Cardinals have struggled to stop the run. With the best running back in the world coming to town, it’ll be next to impossible to stop Taylor.

Taylor has eclipsed the 115.5-yard mark 6 times this season in rushing alone. With receiving yards tagged on, this total will be easy to go Over.

James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals

UNDER 54.5 Rushing Yards

The Cardinals should be facing a bigger pass-influenced game script as only 1-point home favorites. Since returning, Arizona has been easing Chase Edmonds back into the running back rotation.

Conner had 8 carries last week and 13 the previous week, so he’ll need more to hit the Over.

NFL Christmas Games Predictions

Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers

I think the Browns will keep this one really close, but the Packers will pull off the win at home.

Aaron Rodgers just needs 1 touchdown to become Green Bay’s all-time leader in touchdown passes, so that should be fun to watch for.

Browns vs. Packers Prediction: Packers 27, Browns 24

Indianapolis Colts @ Arizona Cardinals

Arizona is in a really good spot here, so I’m going with them to win.

The Los Angeles Rams are just a better team than the Cardinals, and that’s why they beat them two weeks ago. I’m chalking it up to a letdown spot against the Detroit Lions last week.

A short week here, the Cardinals will be well-rested and ready to go for this matchup

Colts vs. Cardinals Prediction: Cardinals 30, Colts 24
