Only four teams are remaining in the NFL playoffs, and the NFC Championship is a matchup between two teams that are quite familiar with one another.

The Los Angeles Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, becoming the first team in league history to host a game in the Conference Championship round where the Super Bowl is being played.

In recent years, the 49ers have had the Rams’ number, winning six straight against their division rivals. Will it be San Francisco or Los Angeles representing the NFC in the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium?

Keep reading below to get my favorite bets for my Same Game Parlay on BetMGM ahead of Sunday’s showdown between the 49ers and the Rams.

Please note all NFL Playoffs odds and lines are current as of 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, January 26 at BetMGM.

Best Bet: Los Angeles Rams -2.5 (-145) at BetMGM

It has been extremely impressive to see the 49ers advance this far, especially with Jimmy Garoppolo not having to do much from under center. Garoppolo has completed 27 of his 44 attempts for 303 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions in San Francisco’s first two playoff games.

Despite Garoppolo’s underwhelming play at quarterback, the 49ers continue to find ways to survive and advance in the playoff gauntlet. That being said, I believe their improbable run ends on Sunday versus a team that San Francisco has beaten six straight times.

The last time we saw the 49ers and the Rams square off was in Week 18 of the regular season. Los Angeles jumped out to a 17-3 lead at halftime, only for them to lose the game to San Francisco, 27-24.

The Rams have shot themselves in the foot at times — including in last week’s narrow win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — but I believe they’ll avoid making any crucial mistakes on Sunday.

The current spread is set at -3.5 in favor of Los Angeles on our NFL gameday odds, but with BetMGM giving the option to use an alternate spread, I moved it to -2.5 in favor of the Rams.

All we need is for Los Angeles to win by at least a field goal, which is something they’ve done in all but one of their wins this season.

Best Bet: Over 39.5 Total Points (-250) at BetMGM

Scoring became an issue in the first two games of the divisional round of the playoffs. Whether it was the weather or the offenses struggling to produce points — or a mixture of both — the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tennessee Titans combined for 35 points while the 49ers and the Green Bay Packers combined for only 23 points.

While scoring was at a minimum in the first two divisional round games, that wasn’t the case in the other two contests. The Rams and the Buccaneers accumulated 57 points while the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs conjured up 78 total points in an overtime thriller.

In the past 10 meetings between the 49ers and the Rams, the Over has been achieved only five times. With the current total being set at 46.5 total points for Sunday’s pivotal matchup, I elected to lower it to 39.5 points.

Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles offense can score points in bunches and they could put up 30 points alone in this game. San Francisco’s offense is also capable of scoring points, with most of their contributions coming from Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel in the ground game.

In the last 10 games between the 49ers and the Rams, both teams have combined for 40+ points in nine of them, including the last five straight.

Best Bet: Odell Beckham Jr. Anytime TD Scorer (+170) at BetMGM

Maybe Odell Beckham Jr. wasn’t the problem on the Cleveland Browns. The Pro Bowl wideout has looked extremely comfortable in the Rams’ offense in their first two playoff games.

Beckham has accrued 10 receptions, 123 receiving yards, and a touchdown in the first two weeks of the postseason. Matthew Stafford has built a nice rapport with Beckham and they appear to be on the same page on timing routes now.

Despite Cooper Kupp being Stafford’s preferred target in any situation, Beckham has evolved into a primary red-zone option for the Rams. With teams centering their attention on Kupp near the end zone, Beckham is drawing single-coverages quite often, and Stafford is trusting the strong-handed wide receiver to make plays.

Even though I also like Cam Akers to score a touchdown on Sunday following his two-fumble performance from last week, I believe Beckham finds the end zone in his first career NFC title game to round out our NFL bet of the day.
