NFL Conference Championship Parlays | NFL Playoffs Pick of the Day

What an incredible slate of football in the divisional round! It was a tough week, as the Buffalo Bills blew it for our longshot parlay pairing with the Cincinnati Bengals, but it sure was exciting to watch.

It’s time to bounce back in the championship round. We have a pair of rematches with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams taking on the San Francisco 49ers for the third time this year.

Let’s dive in to find my favorite parlay bets for Championship Round week in the NFL.

Please note that all NFL gameday odds are courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of 4 p.m. ET on Monday, January 24.

  • Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline (-330) vs Cincinnati Bengals
  • Los Angeles Rams Moneyline (-175) vs San Francisco 49ers

Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline (-330) vs Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are a promising team with a bright future. They’ve had a nice run, as Joe Burrow has flourished in his first postseason, but it’s hard to see them beating the Kansas City Chiefs on the road.

This is because Patrick Mahomes is playing at an extremely high level right now. In his last seven games, he’s thrown for 2,237 yards (8.5 yards per attempt) with 20 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Mahomes just shredded Buffalo Bills for 378 yards and three touchdowns in an epic duel against Josh Allen. Buffalo finished the season with the best pass defense in football, demonstrating that Mahomes is simply unstoppable right now.

The Chiefs have a -330 moneyline as seven-point home favorites, which is why I’ll throw them into a parlay to reduce my risk. I simply can’t bet against Mahomes right now, especially as our NFL bet of the day.

Los Angeles Rams Moneyline (-175) vs San Francisco 49ers

The Los Angeles Rams seemingly did everything they could to throw away their divisional game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but they were able to hang on because the Matthew Stafford-to-Cooper Kupp connection is absolutely dominant.

Los Angeles has struggled against the San Francisco 49ers this season, dropping both meetings, including a blowout loss and an epic meltdown in Week 18. However, I think the third time will be the charm for Sean McVay‘s team.

The reason is simple: their pass rush is playing at an extremely high level right now. Von Miller has found his groove with the Rams, racking up seven sacks in his last six games.

Miller’s emergence makes this pass-rush scary, especially with the best defensive player in football in Aaron Donald anchoring the middle. That’s bad news for 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who really hasn’t done much to help the team get to this stage of the postseason.

NFL Championship Round Longshot Parlay Prediction

Wager: 2 Units To Win 5.64 Units (+282) at Caesars Sportsbook

  • Kansas City Chiefs -7 Point Spread (-110) vs Cincinnati Bengals
  • Los Angeles Rams -3.5 Point Spread (+100) vs San Francisco 49ers

Kansas City Chiefs Cover -7 Point Spread (-110) vs Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals got a huge home win against the Chiefs when these teams met in Week 17, but if we look under the hood, we can see a game that Kansas City let slip away. The Chiefs had 14-0, 21-7, and 28-14 leads at separate stages of that game.

Cincinnati benefitted from Kansas City’s 83 penalty yards, which is unlikely to happen again in a playoff game. While the Bengals have the offensive firepower to hang with the Chiefs in a shootout, I’d rather roll with the better team at home with the touchdown spread.

We also have to consider the Bengals’ issues in pass protection. Burrow was sacked nine times in their divisional win against the Tennessee Titans.

If they can’t protect Burrow, this game will get ugly.

Los Angeles Rams -3.5 Point Spread (-110) vs San Francisco 49ers

If I’m taking the Rams to win outright, I might as well include a bet on the point spread into my second parlay. Los Angeles blew a 17-0 lead in their home loss to the 49ers in Week 18.

Garoppolo did a good job throwing for 316 yards in that comeback win, but he also threw two interceptions and was sacked three times. Stafford gave that game away with two picks and five sacks.

The good news for the Rams is that Stafford has turned up his game for the postseason, throwing for 568 yards and four touchdowns in two games. Most importantly, Stafford has done a great job protecting the football, as he’s yet to throw an interception.

The Rams have done a phenomenal job in pass protection, helping Stafford have a clean pocket to go to work. The veteran quarterback has only been sacked three times in these playoffs.

Same Game Parlay Picks NFL Championship Round

  • Kansas City Chiefs (-330) Moneyline & Total Points Over 54.5

The Chiefs winning outright is the most likely outcome on the Conference Championship betting slate, so I’ll include it in my same game parlay. I’ll also throw in the Over because Mahomes is playing at such a high level, that it’s tough to see Cincinnati slowing him down.

Add in the fact that Tyrann Mathieu is injured and we could see another pass-heavy shootout between Burrow and Mahomes. I project Kansas City to jump out to an early lead, forcing Burrow to air it out, which is a similar game script to their Week 17 matchup.

The Bengals should be able to score their fair share of points here, especially with the Chiefs showing no ability to slow down Ja’Marr Chase, who put up an absurd 11 catches for 266 yards and three touchdowns in their last matchup.
