Jaxon Smith-Njigba absolutely exploded this season, catching 119 of 163 targets for 1,793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. With DK Metcalf dealt to the Steelers, JSN answered the bell as the new alpha in Seattle.
This is a wideout who can win at all three levels of the field. Whether it’s on deep shots, intermediate routes, or short passes underneath, JSN can get it done.
In this column, we’ll explore the best Jaxon Smith-Njigba props for Super Bowl 60. Despite the tough matchup on paper, JSN has the skills to get loose against any secondary.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Super Bowl Props
All NFL odds used for these Jaxon Smith-Njigba Super Bowl props are current as of Thursday, Feb. 5, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Over 94.5 Receiving Yards (-113) vs Patriots
Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a truly dominant year, averaging 105.5 receiving yards per game. JSN racked up 95+ receiving yards in 12 of 19 games this year, including 153 yards against the Rams in the NFC Championship Game.
The Patriots have shut down opposing running games throughout the postseason, with defensive tackle Milton Williams making a massive impact after returning to the lineup. I expect that to continue against Kenneth Walker III and the Seattle rushing attack.
That bodes well for JSN because it could mean more passing volume, giving him more opportunities to hit this prop. Considering these circumstances, we’ll ride with JSN over 94.5 receiving yards as our NFL pick of the day.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Over 6.5 Receptions (-139) vs Patriots
If we’re betting that JSN can get to 95+ receiving yards, it makes sense to add over 6.5 receptions, even at a juiced price of -139 odds.
JSN was able to record at least seven receptions in 13 of 19 games this season, including his 10-catch performance against the Rams last time out.
- Prepare for Patriots vs Seahawks with our Super Bowl 60 predictions.
The Patriots have one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in Christian Gonzalez. There’s a chance that he can help limit big plays downfield for JSN, which would mean that he’d have to get to 95+ yards with more receptions.
New England ranked 10th in yards per target allowed to wideouts, so they’ve proven to be able to limit big plays, and the numbers check out. With a low bar like 7+ receptions, we’ll ride with JSN for one of our favorite Super Bowl prop bets.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Wins Super Bowl MVP (+550)
While Sam Darnold is the heavy favorite in the Super Bowl MVP odds, you have to like the value on JSN to take home this award at +550.
Put it this way: if he has a game as he did against the Rams (10 receptions, 153 yards, 1 touchdown), he’ll likely be named Super Bowl MVP.
JSN is fully capable of another game like that, as he’s shown a high ceiling all year long, including an incredible nine 100-yard games.

Considering that we’re on the over for receptions and receiving yards, it makes sense to sprinkle some on an MVP bet as well.
If it’s a low-scoring game as projected by the 45.5-point total, JSN has a chance to take home the hardware, especially if Darnold throws an interception or two.
