2nd QB Prop Bet: Predicting No. 2 QB Picked in 2021 NFL Draft
Quarterbacks are the lifeblood of the NFL. That’s even more apparent when you look at the odds for the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Trevor Lawrence is all but guaranteed to go No. 1 to the Jacksonville Jaguars — his (-5000) odds say just that. Then Zach Wilson is the odds-on favorite to go No. 2 with (-170). And Justin Fields leads the way to go No. 3 overall at (+200).
Since we know Lawrence will be the first quarterback selected, let’s take a look at the odds to be the second QB drafted.

2021 NFL Draft Prop Bet: Second QB To Be Drafted (PointsBet)

- Trevor Lawrence, Clemson (+2500)

Again, Wilson sits atop those odds, making him the most likely option here, but the value play I see is clearly Fields.
Right now, the New York Jets own the No. 2 pick. Their front office is seemingly keen on Wilson (the odds point to that), but that doesn’t mean the Jets will ultimately make that selection — we could easily see a trade.
There have been rumors of the Jets moving the pick to an array of teams, including the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and even the Philadelphia Eagles.
Placing a bet on the second QB to be drafted is really a prediction of who will have the No. 2 pick come draft night and what their preferred option is to lead their team in the future. I’ve seen enough rumors and mock drafts where Fields goes No. 2 that the plus odds are too appetizing to pass up.
2nd QB Prop Bet: Pauly’s Pick
Whoever does make the No. 2 selection in the 2021 NFL Draft will take a quarterback. It’s simply a question of which one. The odds say go with Wilson, but close to 2-to-1 odds for Fields is where I’m likely putting my money here.
