Pick 3 Prop Bet For 2021 NFL Draft: Justin Fields? Ja’Marr Chase? Dolphins Trade Down?
Thanks for clicking on our No. 3 Pick Prop Bet tips for the 2021 NFL Draft. The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to select quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. After that, the player pool is wide-open, so many options could be picked on NFL Draft Day by the Miami Dolphins — or another NFL team. Should NFL fans make a Justin Fields Pick 3 bet? A Ja’Marr Chase Pick 3 bet? Penei Sewell? Heck, will the Dolphins trade down and blow the whole thing up?
Who’s the best fit for the Dolphins at the third pick of the 2021 NFL Draft? Or should we worry about another team making that decision after a draft-day trade? Here’s the bet you should make. Odds for the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft are provided by PointsBet, with odds current as of Feb. 18.

No. 3 Pick Prop Bet for 2021 NFL Draft
Miami Dolphins No. 3 Draft Pick Odds
- Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State (+200)
- Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon (+225)
- DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama (+350)
- Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU (+350)
- Zach Wilson, QB, BYU (+500)
- Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern (+550)
- Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State (+1200)
The Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailoa with the fifth overall pick in 2020 and despite a disappointing rookie season, the team appears to be focused on surrounding him with playmakers rather than selecting a new quarterback.
This makes the Dolphins a prime trade-down candidate to a QB-needy team looking to move up to select Ohio State star Justin Fields, which is why he’s favored for this pick, or another top talent.
If the Dolphins keep the pick, we could see them go with offensive tackle Penei Sewell, who would allow 2020 first-rounder Austin Jackson to slide over to the right side. The team could also reunite Tua with college teammate DeVonta Smith or potential alpha WR1 Ja’Marr Chase to bolster Miami’s skills group.
Quarterback Zach Wilson will likely be taken by the Jets at Pick 2. Offensive tackle Rashawn Slater is a longshot; Sewell is a superior prospect at the same position. The same goes for Trey Lance, with Wilson and Fields being better options at this stage of the draft.

Justin Fields: NFL Draft No. 3 Pick

Bet $20, Payout $60
Having already selected Tua in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dolphins likely will relish the opportunity to trade down and stockpile picks with such a strong quarterback class in this draft. Miami can swap picks with the Falcons (4th) or Eagles (6th) and still get Chase or Smith as a new weapon for Tua.
The Dolphins could also beef up their offensive line with Slater by trading down.

Ja'Marr Chase: NFL Draft No. 3 Pick

Bet $20, Payout $90
If the Dolphins keep the pick, I would bet on Chase being the selection. The team just invested a first-rounder in an offensive tackle last year and desperately needs a new top wideout. DeVante Parker and Preston Williams are fine, but Chase would give the team a future superstar on the perimeter. His contested-catch ability is elite and would help Tua continue to develop as a passer.
