This year’s NFL injury plague has already continued in Week 4, as the Jacksonville Jaguars lost DJ Chark indefinitely with a left ankle fracture during Thursday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals.
If you’d like to limit the negative affect that injuries may have on your fantasy football fun, playing Daily Fantasy Sports may be a good route for you. DFS or sports betting is also an easy way to inject some excitement into the less riveting matchups on the NFL slate.
If you’re looking for a way to combine the fun of betting and fantasy, PrizePicks may be the perfect site for you. Unlike the typical salary cap lineup construction format that most DFS sites follow, PrizePicks has users build their own parlays by selecting Over or Under on up to five specific player props instead. The more props you select, the higher the multiplier on the entry fee.
Another plus about PrizePicks is their Flex Play option, which allows users to win even with missed picks, though it lowers the potential payout for perfect picks. Now that you understand how PrizePicks works, let’s get into the DFS football predictions series for Week 4!
Stat information for NFL DFS Week 4 picks are current as of Friday, October 1, at 12 PM ET.

NFL DFS Week 4: Single-Stat Daily Fantasy Sports
With the single-stat game format, users will pick Over or Under for a player’s performance in a single stat. Users can string picks together across different games and sports.
Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
Over 0.5 Interceptions
Lamar Jackson has thrown three picks over his last two games and now faces a scary Denver Broncos defense that ranks fourth in interception percentage (3.81%). We’ve also seen the Baltimore Ravens’ offensive line get bullied in pass protection multiple times this season. Von Miller will be their toughest opponent to date, and he will likely have an influence on Jackson and this game.
Mike Gesicki, TE, Miami Dolphins
Over 32.5 Receiving Yards
The quarterback switch from Tua Tagovailoa (IR) to Jacoby Brissett has helped Mike Gesicki more than any other Miami Dolphin pass-catcher. Gesicki’s performance has improved dramatically since Brissett took over in Week 2, hauling in 13 of 18 targets for 127 receiving yards after being held catch-less in Week 1. Facing an Indianapolis Colts team that will bring the pressure on Sunday, expect Gesicki to get plenty of attention underneath from his quarterback yet again.
Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Over 46.5 Receiving Yards
Hunter Renfrow is off to a hot start in the Las Vegas Raiders’ high-flying offense, cementing himself as Derek Carr‘s security blanket. Renfrow has tallied at least five catches and 50 receiving yards in all three games, emerging as a reliable option in the Raiders’ passing attack. Look for Renfrow to be busy again in a potential Week 4 shootout with Justin Herbert‘s Los Angeles Chargers.

NFL DFS Week 4: Fantasy Score Game
The Fantasy Score Game format follows the same concept as the Single-Stat Game. However, instead of picking a player’s performance in a stat category, users will pick Over or Under a player’s fantasy point total. For NFL DFS, PrizePicks follows a PPR scoring format.
Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Over 10.5 Fantasy Points
Cordarrelle Patterson continues to be fantasy football sleeper. He’s been heavily featured in the Atlanta Falcons’ offense this season, recording seven carries in all three games while also racking up 13 catches on 16 targets. The receptions alone will get him halfway to this point total, then the yardage or a touchdown should take him over.
Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Over 20.5 Fantasy Points
Kirk Cousins is another DFS sleeper, as he’s sneakily eclipsed 25 fantasy points in every game this season. This week, he’ll face a Browns team at home that’s surrendering over 20 fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, even after Justin Fields did literally nothing against them last week. Given the weapons at his disposal, picking Cousins over 20.5 points is an easy one.
Damien Harris, RB, New England Patriots
Under 9.5 Fantasy Points
This is the worst possible matchup for Damien Harris, who will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ stingy run defense on Sunday Night Football. Despite losing James White (hip) to the IR last week, the Patriots still didn’t use Harris in the receiving game much. With just five receptions on six targets for 16 receiving yards thus far, his fantasy success will need to come on the ground.
That will be hard to come by against the Buccaneers, who have allowed the NFL’s third-fewest yards per rush (3.1). Their stout run defense means Harris will likely need a touchdown to go over this fantasy point total, which is tough to bank in on a game where Mac Jones will need to air it out to keep pace with Tom Brady.
