Fubo Sportsbook Review

EDITOR'S OPINION

Fubo Sportsbook is owned by Fubo Gaming, and it is currently live in Iowa and Arizona and has gained market access to several other states including New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Indiana. As a new sportsbook, they are looking to differentiate themselves from the competition with a synchronized tv viewing and sports betting experience.

As the app launches, this exciting and innovative approach to an all-inclusive sports betting experience will be a game-changer in a very crowded US sports betting market.

Fubo Sportsbook Hands-on Review

Fubo’s main product as a company is a streaming television service called FuboTV which is focused on multiple sports. That is why it only makes sense that Fubo is branching out into the sports betting industry with their own Fubo Sportsbook.

As a new product, Fubo Sportsbook has been live since Fall 2021 and only in Iowa and launched in Arizona in December 2021. What makes Fubo unique in comparison to other operators is that as a television company, the tv viewing experience is integrated into the betting experience.

For example, if you turn your tv on and start watching sports you can sync the tv with your Fubo Sportsbook app. If you switch the channel to the Red Sox game, the best Red Sox bets will show up on your app. Similarly, if you switch to an Argentinian Soccer game, an Argentine Soccer betting menu will show up on your app.

The world is your oyster, and so is your TV with Fubo Sportsbook.

Is Fubo Sportsbook Legit?

Yes, Fubo Sportsbook is a legal sportsbook that is regulated by the States of Iowa and Arizona with more to come in the future. This means that your money and personal information are safe and all betting options are fair and regulated.

Legal sportsbooks give you the peace of mind knowing that your money is safe, deposits and withdrawals are done quickly and securely and all betting lines and odds are fair.

Most importantly, mainstream banking options are available on the app. This includes credit cards, online bank transfers and popular eWallets like PayPal and Skrill.

Can You Win Real Money Playing at Fubo Sportsbook?

Yes, real money can be deposited and wagered through Fubo Sportsbook. Most importantly, real money can be withdrawn from Fubo Sportsbook as well.

Using the Fubo Sportsbook is not like using a sketchy illegal gambling site. As part of licensing requirements, state regulatory bodies require banking security. All banking transactions are run through secure servers, where Fubo employees will never see any of your personal information.

Additionally, it is easy to withdraw your money from Fubo. Once you decide to make a withdrawal, your withdrawal is processed quickly and sent to you through one of the many familiar banking options.

For your security, the first time using a new banking method may need to be verified. However, after your first withdrawal, future withdrawals are processed more timely.

Fubo Sportsbook Signup Bonus

One of the major advantages of placing your sports bets online is the wide array of promotional offerings that you can’t find in a retail sportsbook. None are more valuable than the new player bonus as they tend to be the most generous offer you will come across.

Fubo is now offering a risk-free bet up to $1,000 and a free month of FuboTV unlimited when you use promo code to get you started with the full Fubo experience.

Risk-Free Bet up to $1,000

Fubo is currently offering a risk-free bet up to $1,000, exclusively for new customers who register a new account using the promo code . All you need to do is create a new account, make a real money deposit and make any bet with minimum odds of -200. If that bet wins, congrats! You will be paid out in cash just as any other bet. If that bet falls a bit short, you will be fully refunded up to $1,000 in promotional credit.

There are a few stipulations on what you can bet with the promotional credit. You have to bet the promotional credit 1x through before it converts to your cash balance. Any bet made with promotional credit has to have odds of -200 or longer. The promotional credit does have to be used within 30 days of issue, and any unused promotional credit will be forfeited after 30 days. Other than that, there is nothing else stopping you from making the bets you want to make.

Most online sportsbooks pay off promos in the form of a free bet that has to be used all in one big wager, but Fubo’s refund has a distinct advantage by being issued in the form of promotional credit. Promotional credit can be wagered in any denomination you choose but does need to be wagered 1x through in order to convert the promotional credit to your cash balance.

One Free Month of FuboTV

After placing your first wager at Fubo Online Sportsbook, you will receive a promo code that gives you access to a free month of FuboTV Starter Plan Sports Plus with NFL RedZone addon. You will only receive the promo code if you never had a FuboTV, but for current customers, you will receive a credit for one month’s bill, equal to $75.98. Either way, new customers and existing customers will get one month free.

Fubo Sportsbook No-Deposit Bonus

A no-deposit bonus is when a sportsbook gives new users a bonus in the form of promotional credit or a free bet just for signing up. As the name entails, the bonus is given without an initial deposit.

For example, Fubo may give new customers a $20 promotional credit on the house to try out the sportsbook, no strings attached. For now, Fubo does not offer any type of no-deposit bonus, but may add one in the future.

Deposit Bonus

A deposit bonus is a common type of sportsbook bonus where the first deposit is matched with promotional credit or free bet credits equal to a certain percentage of the first deposit. Typically, legal sportsbooks offer 100% matching on first-time deposits.

Usually, the only requirement to be able to withdraw money from a deposit bonus is that bettors are required to make bets equal to the initial deposit also known as rollover requirements. Legal sportsbooks typically only require 1-3 times rollover meaning a $500 deposit would only require $500-$1500 in wagers.

As an example, a sportsbook is offering a 100% deposit bonus with 3 times rollover. If you deposit $500, you will get an additional $500 for a total of $1000 to bet with. To withdraw your funds including the bonus, you must made $1500 in sports wagers ($500 times 3).

Currently, Fubo does not offer a first deposit bonus match, but may look to add one in the future.

Fubo Sportsbook Promotions

Currently, Fubo Sportsbook does not have a ton of promotions as they are still new to the US betting landscape. Eventually, Fubo is likely to have promotions that can include odds boosts, deposit reload bonuses, unique betting markets, and free bets awarded on high-profile games.

Typically these bonuses come during busy times of the year or on a daily/weekly basis. Some promotions require a promo code, while others may just require you to opt in through the promotions page. For the Super Bowl, you can get an increased payout on certain proposition bets as well as a deposit reload bonus. Another popular promotion is that in exchange for making certain bets, sportsbooks like to give out free bets as a reward.

My Fubo Sportsbook App Experience

Fubo is still in the infant phase, but there is still a lot to be excited about. Currently only bettors in Iowa and Arizona have full access, but those looking to get a preview of the sportsbook can easily download the app in the Apple App Store, or in the Google Play store for Android users.

One key feature about the app is how easy it is to use. Navigating through all that Fubo has to offer is a breeze via the buttons at the bottom and their collapsable betslip makes it easy to put together parlays or wager on singles. Integration with FuboTV is simple as a click of a button at the top of the screen that shows you all games available for streaming.

No matter what sport you like to bet on, the Fubo sportsbook app will integrate with the FuboTV experience. No matter if you like NBA basketball or European Team Handball, if its on FuboTV, you can get the full betting experience right there on your TV. We also expect Fubo to give new players some type of trial subscription to FuboTV.

Another aspect that makes Fubo Sportsbook stand out is that they have low vig on player props. Because player props are one of the more easily beatable wagers with research, books usually charge 30 “cents” of vig or -115 on both sides. Fubo has only 20 “cents” of vig or -110 on both sides of most player props, even some of the more exotic bets.

Should You Bet at Fubo Sportsbook?

With so many sportsbooks to choose from in the US sportsbook market, Fubo stands out with their FuboTV integration, clean interface and are the only sportsbook in the US to get their lines and odds from Amelco. Amelco is somewhat common in the European market, but Fubo will be the first to offer pricing from Amelco, and in a world full of Kambi powered sportsbooks, Fubo will offer great line shopping options.

FuboTV is a great addition to their online sportsbook as well, as other sportsbooks may offer live streaming, this takes the experience to a whole new level. Gone are the days of choppy soundless streaming with limited options to send to a big screen, FuboTV is similar to any other service like Netflix or Amazon Prime where it was made for the 70 inch monster in your living room.

Fubo Sportsbook Payment Methods

Fubo Sportsbook is licensed and legal in any US market that they are live. This means that every aspect of the online sportsbook has gone through rigorous testing in order to obtain that license, and none more important than the Fubo banking options. Keeping your money safe and secure is priority one at Fubo, and many of the deposit and withdrawal options are familiar methods of payment that you use every day. Banking methods will vary by state, but the most common are:

Deposits

  • Credit Card
  • Skrill
  • ACH
  • Paypal
  • Wire Transfer
  • Sightline

Withdrawals

Fubo Sportsbook Rewards System

Online sportsbooks like to reward bettors for their play and there is no better way than through an online loyalty or rewards system. There are a few methods that sportsbooks accomplish this goal including points systems, giveaways, stays at retail casinos and more. Typically, the more you play, the more you earn through some type of tier-based system, where you can exchange points for free bets, free play, live casino stays, comped meals and more.

Currently, Fubo does not have a loyalty program, but as they continue to grow, we hope to see a rewards system put in place either through free FuboTV, free bets, deposits bonuses and more for loyal customers to the site.

Customer Service

Fubo Online Sportsbook is an extremely intuitive site to navigate, but from time to time, you may still run into a snag here and there. If you find yourself with any questions or concerns while playing at Fubo, you have several options to find an answer, no matter how big or small the issue is.

  • FAQ: For most common issues, you can find your answer by scrolling to the bottom of the app and clicking on the help section. Once there, you will find a search bar to help you navigate to some of the most common issues that bettors face.
  • Live Chat: If you can’t find your answer in the FAQ section, the fastest path to an answer is chatting with a live agent through the live chat feature. Speaking one on one with a Fubo Sportsbook customer service agent who will walk you through any issues you may face.
  • Email: For less urgent issues, you can email support and usually receive a reply within 24 hours.

Fubo Sportsbook States

Online sports betting has taken over the US, and it seems as each month passes, more and more states are looking to legalize online sports wagering. Fubo Sportsbook is currently live in Iowa and Arizona but are looking to go live in several other states throughout the US as partnerships become available.

In addition to Iowa and Arizona, Fubo has announced partnerships in Indiana and New Jersey via Caesars Entertainment, and Pennsylvania via the Cordish Companies who own and operate Live! Casino. There is no timeline on launch dates at this time, but more information should be coming soon.

Does Fubo Sportsbook Have An Online Casino?

Online casinos are legal in several states, and most online sportsbooks do have an online casino attached. With shared balances between the casino and sportsbook, it’s an easy transition to playing a few hands of blackjack at halftime. Fubo Online sportsbook is currently only live in Iowa and Arizona, which does not allow online casino gaming, but with deals in place for markets like Pennsylvania and New Jersey, we may see Fubo add all your favorite slots, table games and video poker to their sportsbook app when they go live.
