Parlay betting is one of the best ways to wager on sports since it enables users to combine markets and get more lucrative odds.

Unibet may not be a household name in the online sports betting space, but it is a great option for parlay betting since it produces competitive odds and offers single-game parlays on almost every game in every team sport every day.

If you are a sports bettor in a state where Unibet is legal, you should give the sportsbook a chance. If you need more info, here’s a crash course on parlay betting with Unibet.

How to Bet Parlays on Unibet

Step 1: Create an Account or Sign In

If you don’t have an account, create one by clicking on one of our Get Bonus buttons to activate the best welcome bonus available. You can also read our Unibet review for more information. Don’t forget to include a promo code if need be.

Keep in mind that all sensitive information is secure and only used to affirm your age and identity.

Step 2: Deposit

Insert funds. Credit-card transactions generally include a cash-advanced fee and make it harder to withdraw your money when you want to. Try an e-wallet, ACH or electronic payment method like PayPal.

Before signing up and making a deposit, for those in Arizona, get the Unibet bet $50, get $200 promo. Unibet will match 100% of your bet, up to $50, with four free bets of equal value.

Step 3: Peruse Betting Markets

Consult the betting markets and determine which wager you want for your first leg.

Step 4: Add Subsequent Legs

Peruse other options and add them as you deem fit.

Step 5: Place Your Bet

Once you’ve got the exact parlay, enter the amount you wish to wager in the “amount" spot, press place bet and root for your parlay to hit!

What Is a Traditional Parlay?

A traditional parlay is when a bettor combines multiple betting markets as a single wager. In a traditional parlay every leg of the bet must be successful in order for the full wager to pay out.

The usual strategy with parlay betting is to get more favorable odds for wagers that are likely to hit. The most basic parlay combines two-or-more moneyline or spread bets.

For instance, if the Cincinnati Bengals are a -250 moneyline favorite in their game against the Cleveland Browns, I can wager on Cincinnati to win that game then also add the Tennessee Titans at -170 to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars.

By combining those two wagers in a parlay bet, the odds jump to +122, meaning I’d win $122 in profit on a $100 bet if both teams won.

Unibet Parlay Rules

Unibet has set some ground rules on its parlays. Here they are:

  • Pushes: If any leg pushes, meaning the over or under wagered hits the exact number listed, that wager on the parlay will be voided and the parlay will be reduced by one leg. If, in a two-leg parlay, a bet pushes then the entire wager will be voided, and the bettor’s initial stake will be returned.
  • Leg Limits: All parlays are limited to 20 legs.
  • Cashing Out: Unibet allows bettors to cash out of a parlay early, either for a moderate profit or slight loss.

Unibet Single-Game Parlays

Same-game parlays, or custom multi-leg wagers from one game, have become one of the most popular ways to bet on sports since FanDuel invented the practice in 2018. Every sportsbook in the United States has since developed its own version of the same-game parlay, and Unibet is no exception.

Unibet makes single-game parlays a cinch by enabling users to easily find the section for each game.

Plus, unlike some of its competition, Unibet offers single-game parlays for every game played from around the world, meaning you can dream up an SGP on football, baseball and the NBA games but also Russian hockey or British soccer, which opens the global sports spectrum to your disposal.

Single-game parlays are perfect for one-game days or nights or championship-round dates, where bettors may not be able to create traditional parlays.

For instance, if I want to parlay bet on basketball during the Western Conference Finals, I could wager on the Golden State Warriors to win, for Steph Curry to hit over 2.5 3-pointers and Klay Thompson to finish with more than 15.5 points.

But make no mistake, single-game parlays are available, and fun, for any game.

If you want to bet on the Dallas Cowboys and for Dak Prescott to have a huge game, you can bet them to cover the spread and for Prescott to go over a touchdown-pass prop or passing-yards prop in a single-game parlay.

Unibet Single-Game Parlay Rules

Unibet has single-game parlay rules.

  • Maximum Legs: A single-game parlay at Unibet may not have more than 10 legs.
  • Voids: If any single-game parlay leg pushes, the wager is reduced by one leg. If it is a two-leg, single-game parlay and one leg pushes the bet is voided entirely.

Round Robin Parlays

Round robin parlays are a different way to parlay bet in which the bettor can hedge slightly. In a round-robin bet, bettors can create multi-leg parlays that only require some of the bets to hit for them to pay out.

Simply, a round-robin creates smaller wagers out of a larger multi-leg parlay.

For instance, aside from placing a three-leg parlay you, the bettor, may create three two-leg round-robin parlays that will pay out if any two legs hit. That way you won’t lose your entire stake if one leg falls short.

There is no shortage of combinations available in a round-robin parlay, but simply, bettors must place at least a three-leg parlay in the hopes that at least two legs will hit.

If two legs do hit, bettors will receive a profitable payout, and if all three legs hit then bettors will receive an enormous win since it is essentially the same as hitting three separate two-leg parlays.

Unibet Round Robin Rules

Round robins can be confusing and do come with more rules than traditional parlays. Here are some of them:

  • Legs: As stated above, all round robins must have at least three legs, since a two-leg round robin would simply be a single wager. No round robin may have more than 12 legs.
  • Stakes: The stakes for round robins can be crazy and vary depending on the amount of wagers needed to hit.

For instance, in a three-leg round robin, a bettor must put out three-times his/her initial stake since there are three different outcomes that can be successful.

If a bettor wants to place a four-leg wager, he or she may decide to bet on four two-leg parlays or two three-leg parlays, and stakes are adjusted accordingly.

  • Names: Round robins have names like Trixies, Yankees, Golitahs, Canadians, Super Heinzes and more. The Unibet website has an explanation of each, but a trixie is a three-leg round robin with four possible outcomes.

Unibet Teasers

Teasers are when a sportsbook empowers bettors to move spreads or totals to make them more favorable for wagering. In traditional teasers, a sportsbook will invite a bettor to buy a certain number of points for each leg of a parlay and adjust the odds accordingly.

For instance, if the Houston Texans are a three-point underdog in their game against the Indianapolis Colts, and the New York Giants are a seven-point dog against the Green Bay Packers, a bettor could tease the spreads by six points — the Texans would be a nine-point underdog and the Giants would need to cover 12 points — and the sportsbook would adjust those odds.

Aside from buying points, sportsbooks also offer bettors the opportunity to tease individual markets and include them as parlay legs. These are typically referred to as alternate totals or alternate spreads.

An example of an alternate spread is, if in the scenario above, I didn’t trust the Packers to cover seven points, I could take them to win by at least 5.5 points at different odds. Or if I was unsure if the Giants could cover seven, I could take them to lose by nine points or fewer.

Teasers and alternate spreads are an integral way of parlay betting since it is near-impossible to win a parlay where more than two legs are -110 odds — or the sportsbook equivalent of a coin toss.

Teaser Rules

  • Pushes: Like most parlays, individual legs that push are voided, and the whole parlay is reduced by one leg and the odds are adjusted accordingly.

Unibet Parlay Bets for NFL

Parlay betting on football is a terrific way to bet, since the NFL has as many as 15 games in a single day during the regular season. Unibet is a terrific option for NFL parlay betting too since it offers competitive odds on money lines, spreads and totals and makes single-game parlays a cinch.

Unibet offers odds on marquee NFL games months out, including games on Thanksgiving, high-profile international games, and those that are highly anticipated, and bettors can combine those wagers as far ahead of time as the lines are available.

Plus, Unibet will often boost odds on specially curated parlay wagers on NFL Sundays and other major days on the football calendar, ensuring that bettors will get the best odds on that combination.

Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is, well, the Super Bowl of online sports betting, and bettors at Unibet are in luck because the sportsbook offers dozens of markets for single-game parlays.

Plus, users can combine futures markets to wager on, like who will participate in the big game in February, by placing a parlay bet on one team to win the AFC and NFC.

Parlay Bet Strategies

Do your homework. Betting parlays can be very hard, especially in a sport like a football where getting profitable odds and finding markets that will hit can be challenging.

We at The Game Day offer a robust array of betting analyses for all sports, and we dream up our favorite same-game and multi-leg parlays for sports each day.

Teasers are your friend. If you don’t love including a -450 moneyline-odds wager, or again don’t feel comfortable combining multiple spreads that have -110 odds, you can tease the spread to a more manageable number like down to 2.5 from 4.5 or up to 7.5 from 6.5.

The payout will be smaller, but the odds of it hitting would improve.

But most importantly, have fun and be responsible. Plus, trust your gut. You’ll hate it if you included a parlay leg you didn’t trust just because one of your friends gave you faulty intel.

Parlay Betting for Beginners

Trial and error is the best way to parlay bet as a beginner. Some days you’ll catch some beginner’s luck and cash in. Other times you’ll be embarrassed by how far off you were.

No matter the case, there’s a reason why online sportsbooks like Unibet give you a second-chance bet that reimburses in free site credit: so you can take a spin around their sportsbook, make mistakes and continue to be able to use their service.

Don’t go overboard either. Stay within your limit. Parlay betting carries insanely long odds because it is less likely to be successful, and placing a $1,000 or more wager on a parlay, especially as a novice, is a great way to lose a lot of money.

Research. Stay small, at least to start, and have fun. You’ll get up to speed in no time.

How to Calculate Parlay Odds?

Calculating parlay odds can be a crapshoot since the odds can vary substantially depending on the teams odds you pick and when you placed the wager. Two -110 bets will produce +264 odds, or a $264 profit on a $100 wager.

Fortunately, Unibet, like all the other online sportsbooks, will give you the exact odds and amount you’ll win if your parlay bet hits.

Why Are Parlays a Good Bet?

It is extremely fun and rewarding to hit a parlay, especially when you have a long-odds underdog as one of your legs.

There is a certain pride and the tangible reward of extra money when a parlay hits that can’t be adequately described with words. You almost need to experience it first-hand if you haven’t.

Plus, if you load up your parlay with favorites and they all hit you’ll still double your initial stake back, which is nice.

Can Parlays Be a Bad Bet?

The odds dictate that parlays can be bad bets. It is really, really hard to come up with a successful four-plus-leg parlay, even when each team in that parlay has moneyline odds of -250 or shorter. Hitting a parlay is a matter of luck.

Almost universally at least one of your parlay legs will make you sweat if not lose outright. That can be crushing, especially when you dedicate time, energy and thought into crafting the perfect parlay and all-but-one team wins.

What Sports Are Available for Parlays?

Every single one, and what’s more is you can always combine betting markets from across multiple sports, which means you can dream up a parlay that incorporates your favorite NFL and NBA team and win big when they both win big.

Is There Bet Insurance on Parlays?

Yes! Unibet, like most sportsbooks, will periodically refund your initial stake if only one leg of a parlay doesn’t hit. Remember that opting in is usually a requirement for such promotions.
