Does Polymarket Offer Crypto Predictions?
Yes. Polymarket is one of the prediction sites that offer crypto event contracts. When I opened the crypto section, I found many popular options, including Ethereum, BNB, Solana, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ripple.
You can buy or sell Up or Down, Above or Below, Price Range, or Hit Price on these crypto event contracts. When I checked the Polymarket crypto section, I found some contracts like “What price will Bitcoin hit in June?" All I needed to do was make a Yes/No prediction on the price of Bitcoin to be resolved on July 1st.
Note that each outcome shows the current Yes or No price that represents the market’s implied probability. Live prediction probability shifts in real time as more traders join the trade. Polymarket crypto prices are based on a live order book, and the current spread can affect Yes or No prices in a way that they don’t equal 100¢.
When you open your chosen crypto event contract, you’ll see a graph showing the Polymarket crypto price. Interestingly, on the crypto page, you’ll see only two prices for an event contract. But when you click on your chosen contract, you may find many prediction outcomes with their associated prices.
For instance, I saw between $57,000 and $65,000 for the “What price will Bitcoin hit in June?" contract. When I tapped it, I saw outcomes like $100,000, $92,500, $90,000, $87,500, $85,000, $82,500, $80,000, $77,500, $75,000, $72,500, $70,000, $67,500, $65,000, $57,500, $55,000, $52,500, $50,000, and $47,500.
Each option has its Yes or No prices. Note that you can also sort crypto event contracts by categories like Ending Soon, Trending, Volume, Liquidity, Newest, and Competitive.
Here’s what to know about the Polymarket crypto market:

What Crypto Does Polymarket Use for Predictions?
I found many crypto markets at Polymarket during my review. Here are the most popular cryptocurrencies featured:
Bitcoin (BTC)
As expected, the Polymarket Bitcoin market is the biggest among other cryptocurrencies on the site. I counted 35 event contracts when I clicked on this cryptocurrency.
Some markets run daily, weekly, monthly, and even yearly. If you want to make quick forecasts that won’t take the whole day to resolve, I recommend checking out the 5-minute, 15-minute, or 1-hour markets. Granted, this looks like crypto day trading on Polymarket, but it isn’t the same. You aren’t trading Bitcoin directly. Instead, you can only choose Yes/No or Up/Down on Bitcoin prices.
My first trade was predicting the price Bitcoin would hit in June. I also forecasted whether China will ban Bitcoin by 2027. Remember, if you enter trades that’ll take a long time to resolve, you can sell them to take a profit or limit your losses.
Ethereum (ETH)
If you’re a crypto fan, you’ll know Ethereum is the second most popular cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. Therefore, I wasn’t surprised to see event contracts on ETH prices at Polymarket.
I found 18 Ethereum markets, and most of them are daily and weekly forecasts on ETH prices. For instance, I forecasted the price of Ethereum on June 8th. Also, I predicted ETH’s highest price in 2026.
Solana (SOL)
Markets for Solana are also one of the most popular at Polymarket. The prediction site features 13 markets for this cryptocurrency. Simply trade Yes or No on Solana prices on the site. You can start with the Solana all-time high by 2027.
Another interesting prediction I made about Solana is whether HYPE will flip SOL by December 31st. When I checked this contract, I found that 84% of traders selected “No". I also did the same, as Solana’s $50 billion market cap is greatly higher than HYPE’s $15 billion.
Ripple (XRP)
If you follow Ripple news and latest updates online, you can also trade Yes or No on Ripple prices at the Polymarket crypto page. Like other cryptocurrencies I’ve already discussed, you’ll find daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly XRP event contracts.
I saw 11 Yes/No markets alongside Up/Down, making Ripple one of the best cryptocurrencies for short-term trades. Some markets I found for this crypto include the XRP price on June 12th.
Dogecoin (DOGE)
Based on my experience trading Polymarket crypto markets, Dogecoin is one of the few cryptos with a limited number of markets on the site. I counted only six event contracts, which are mainly for the 5-minute, 15-minute, hourly, and daily markets.
Some contracts I traded for this crypto include DOGE Up or Down 4h, Dogecoin Up or Down daily, and what price Dogecoin will hit in July. I love these short markets as they resolve quickly.
BNB
Like with Dogecoin, I found six BNB markets during my time at Polymarket. Also, these were mostly hourly and daily contracts alongside 5-minute and 15-minute markets.
My first prediction was whether BNB would go up or down in 1 hour. Markets like “What price will BNB hit in June" and “BNB Up or Down daily" are high volume.

Reasons to Trade Crypto Event Contracts at Polymarket
CFTC-Regulated
Polymarket US is a reputable prediction site regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), showing its legitimacy.
The prediction site operates as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) under the CFTC regulation, so you can make Yes or No forecasts on crypto event contracts.
Security
Another reason I prefer trading crypto event contracts on Polymarket is its high level of security. After signing up, Polymarket listed its upgraded security features, including Web3 Wallet integration, two-factor authentication, non-custodial smart contracts, and redeployed Wallet architecture.
These improved security features ensure you can trade with confidence on the prediction site.
Features Popular Crypto Markets
Let me mention again that Polymarket features many popular cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, Solana, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, BNB, and HYPE. You’ll find many markets on these cryptos, including 4-hour, 1-hour, 15-minute, and 5-minute. There are also daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly event contracts.
Many Cryptos Are Available in the Short-Term Markets
Polymarket has been my go-to prediction site since I saw its short-term markets. The 5-minute event contracts are my favorites as they resolve quickly. Once you trade any contract in this market, you’ll see a timer counting down.
But note that you don’t need to wait till the market resolves. You can sell your contract to manage your losses if the price dips or take profit if it skyrockets.
3 Expert Tips for Making Crypto Predictions at Polymarket
Watch the Trade Closely
Cryptocurrencies are known for their volatility. Therefore, I recommend monitoring your trade closely to know whether to sell or leave it until the market resolves.
For instance, I predicted that the Bitcoin price would hit $75,000 in June, but after it dipped to $67,000, I sold my contract to cut my losses.
Try Other Event Contracts
Granted, crypto is one of the largest markets on Polymarket, but there are other categories like politics, culture, climate, sports, finance, and tech.
I occasionally trade event contracts in the politics section. For instance, I predicted when the US and Iran would sign a permanent peace deal.
Follow Crypto News
Since crypto is highly volatile and you’ll be forecasting prices, I recommend following crypto news to stay updated with industry trends and latest prices. That way, you’ll know whether to sell your contract or let it resolve.
