Kentucky CFB Odds & Best Bets

Mark Stoops has Kentucky Wildcats football in a great spot with seven straight Bowl Games, including two 10-win seasons in the last five years.

Last year, the Wildcats finished 7-6 — including an embarrassing home loss to Vanderbilt — and will need to replace outgoing QB Will Levis. Stoops managed to add Devin Leary from NC State to lead his most experienced offense to date and should have a solid defense yet again this season.

It’s never easy in the SEC, though, and Kentucky will have a challenging schedule loaded with landmines to cross if they’re going to reach an eighth-straight bowl game.

Kentucky: Win National Championship (+25000)

BetMGM Sportsbook

It’d be quite a disappointment if Kentucky didn’t open with four straight wins, but the final eight are tough — most notably going on the road to Georgia and a home matchup with Alabama on senior day.

It’s a long shot for a reason, but if you’re looking to bet on Kentucky to win the whole thing this year, your best option to do is BetMGM, where you can get better odds — up to $100 more per dollar wagered in some cases — compared to other operators.

I’m not backing Kentucky to win it all this year, but you can see who I am in the full CFB National Championship odds.

Kentucky: Win SEC East (+4500)

DraftKings Sportsbook

Due to the fact that Kentucky is in a division with Georiga, the odds that the Wildcats manage to get past the Bulldogs and win the SEC East are long. This Kentucky team is improved and they kept it close in 2023, but it’s going to be tough for anyone to beat Georgia.

You could also consider taking Kentucky to win the SEC at (+10000) on DraftKings, but you might be better off targeting their win total or other prop options below where you can back Kentucky and can still win your bet without the Wildcats having to upset Georiga and/or Alabama.

Kentucky: Over 7 Wins (-110)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

It’s going to be quite a challenge for Kentucky to not start 4-0 with Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, and Akron coming to Lexington to open the season, followed by a road trip to Vanderbilt.

The rest of the schedule is difficult, but I’m willing to back the Wildcats to find at least three wins across their next eight. Alabama and Georgia are likely losses, but drawing Florida and Tennessee at home is significant.

Stoops has got the Wildcats into seven straight bowl games, and Kentucky went 7-6 last year with two losses of three points. Despite the loss of Levis, this offense may actually be improved with nearly everyone else back.

Kentucky: More Wins Than NC State (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Leary started the last four years at North Carolina State and will attempt to fill the shoes of Levis who was drafted 33rd in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Leary is a proven player with 26 starts and all the talent in the world, but a torn pectoral last season cut his season short. If he stays healthy, he will at least take better care of the ball than Levis did, with 62 touchdowns to just 16 interceptions at NC State.

Kentucky is the better team and I’m quite high on Leary, so even with the scheduling mismatch of playing in the SEC, I’m backing Kentucky to win more games than NC State this season.
