The Super Bowl has arrived, making it a great opportunity to target the props market with NFL betting.

With so many options at your disposal, there are no shortage of paths toward obtaining a profit in the big game.

We’ve got a clash of two of the best offenses in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, so we could see a high-scoring matchup.

That means that it’s a great spot for touchdown props, including anytime, first, multiple, and exacta markets.

In this article, we’ll provide some touchdown picks along with tips on how to attack this bet type.

All Super Bowl odds used in these props are current as of Thursday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. ET.

Super Bowl Anytime Touchdown Props

Travis Kelce (-135) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Kelce set a career-high with 12 touchdowns this season. The future Hall of Fame tight end already has three scores during the playoffs.

He also led the NFL with 30 red-zone targets during the year, including a 28% target share within the 20-yard line.

The Eagles defense was much tougher on wideouts (fourth-fewest yards allowed) than tight ends (13th in yards allowed) this year.

As a result, we could see the Chiefs target the middle of the field more often in this one, which also bodes well for Kelce finding the end zone.

Jalen Hurts (-115) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Hurts rushed for 13 touchdowns this season, including two in the playoffs so far.

The Eagles love to call designed runs for their dual-threat quarterback within the 20-yard line. He finished fourth with 44 red zone attempts this season, despite playing only 15 games.

We also have to remember that the extra week of rest could help Hurts as he deals with a shoulder injury, which has impacted his rushing output in the previous three matchups.

Look for a more refreshed Hurts in the Super Bowl, resulting in more rush attempts and improved efficiency. That’s good news for his touchdown chances.

Super Bowl 1st TD Giveaway

Miles Sanders (-105) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Sanders put up a career-best 11 touchdowns this season, which was a major surprise after he failed to find the end zone in 2021.

The fourth-year back became a major weapon within the 20s this year, totaling 45 red zone attempts, ranking third in the NFL.

Sanders is coming off a game where he scored twice in their win against the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs were average against the run this year, ranking 15th in yards per carry allowed. Sanders has a great chance to score a touchdown here.

Super Bowl First Touchdown Prop Bets

DeVonta Smith (+1200) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 0.25 Units

Smith caught 95 of 136 targets for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns this season. This is a budding star at wide receiver, one who is capable of commanding a hefty target share.

He’s already scored one touchdown during this postseason, back in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Giants.

We’re getting more value on Smith (+1200) than teammate A.J. Brown (+1000), despite the fact that the former only had nine fewer targets during the season.

The Chiefs gave up 20 touchdowns to opposing wideouts this year, which was tied for 30th in the NFL. You have to love the value on Smith here considering these circumstances.

Kenneth Gainwell (+1800) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 0.25 Units

The Eagles love to run the ball in the end zone, rushing for 32 touchdowns this season. Gainwell was able to score four of those touchdowns, despite only having 53 carries on the year.

We saw the second-year-back score a touchdown against the Giants, so he’s definitely worth a sprinkle to hit pay dirt first at +1800 odds.

Now the risk here is that since it’s the first touchdown, there’s a much better chance that Sanders is in the game because he’s the lead back.

However, if the game gets off to a slow start and there are no touchdowns until the Eagles’ second or third drive, there’s a reasonable chance that Gainwell gets an opportunity.

Super Bowl Multiple Touchdown Prop Bets

Jerick McKinnon (+1600) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 0.25 Units

We’re buying low on McKinnon in this longshot wager following an AFC Championship Game where he took a backseat to Isiah Pacheco.

Let’s remember that the veteran back had scored nine touchdowns in the final six games of the regular season.

He was able to hit pay dirt twice in three of those games. This is because he’s become a weapon in the red zone, especially as a receiver out of the backfield, as eight of those scores came through the air.

While there’s a risk that we see Pacheco used more once again, this is a longshot bet, so we’re looking for a reasonable outcome at the best price.

Super Bowl Touchdown Exacta Prop Bets

Jalen Hurts 1st+Jerick McKinnon 2nd+Miles Sanders 3rd (+15000) at DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 0.1 Units

Targeting the touchdown exacta market is obviously a difficult task, so we need to construct a logical process here.

We’ll take an Eagle to score the first touchdown because they’re my pick to win the game. The winning team often finds the end zone first, so this makes sense.

Philadelphia is only a slight favorite in this game, so it’s a good idea to take a Chiefs player to score the second touchdown since it projects as a close matchup. McKinnon is a solid choice given his usage in the red zone.

We’ll take an Eagles player to score the third touchdown because we’re projecting them to play with the lead, so this fits our game script. Sanders is the best option due to his heavy usage within the 20-yard line.

How To Choose Super Bowl TD Prop Bets

There are a number of ways to target Super Bowl TD prop bets.

The safest pick would be to take anytime touchdown, where you just need your player to find the end zone at any point in the game.

If you’re looking for a better payout, you can target first touchdown, which is when you need your player to hit pay dirt first in the game.

You may be feeling confident that your player is in line for a huge game. This is where taking them to score multiple touchdowns may be a good option, especially due to the high odds.

The last popular choice is the exacta market, which is where you shoot for the moon and try to nail down the first and second touchdown. You can even make it a trifecta by adding in the third score.

Each of these touchdown props involves strategy. Check out the betting tips below to help you create a sound process.

NFL Anytime Touchdown Betting Tip

The best way to choose your anytime touchdown prop would be to select a player who sees a lot of volume, particularly in the red zone.

The red zone is the easiest place to score a touchdown since it’s within 20 yards, so this is important in your player selection.

You also want to take a look at the implied total to see how many touchdowns each team is projected to score.

NFL First Touchdown Betting Tip

Choosing the first touchdown scorer is a low-probability endeavor, so you want to make sure that you’re risking fewer units on this market compared to anytime touchdowns.

The next bit of advice would be to target a player from the favored team. Check the point spread to see who the favorite is and select one of their players. The bigger the favorite, the better because they’re more likely to score touchdowns.

Since the favored team is projected to win, there’s a good chance that they’ll score the first touchdown. From there, you can opt to pick a player with heavy usage or try to shoot for the moon on a long shot.

NFL Multiple Touchdown Betting Tip

Choosing a multiple-touchdown scorer should be more of a sprinkle since it’s difficult to win. Be sure not to use a standard bet size on this market.

You want to take a player who sees heavy usage in the red zone here. It’s hard enough to score one touchdown, let alone two, so don’t be taking a player who is merely a deep-threat wide receiver.

It’s best to look at running backs here since it’s easier to score on the ground in the red zone than through the air. High-volume rushers like Derrick Henry are good choices for this market.

NFL Exacta Touchdown Betting Tip

Here’s the lottery ticket of touchdown props. Be sure to only risk a fraction of your standard bet on such a long shot like this one. Remember, money management is key.

Follow the same principles as first touchdown scorer for your first pick in the exacta. That means choosing a player from the favored team.

Next, if the point spread is a low number, you’ll want to take a player from the opposing team to score the next touchdown. This is because the game projects to be close.

You can go back to the favorite for the third touchdown if you create a trifecta.

On the other hand, if the spread is high, you can take a player from the same team for two of three or even each of the touchdowns within your bet, since the game may turn into a blowout.
