Vikings vs Bengals Predictions & Best Bets

Last Updated: Dec 14, 2023

The Cincinnati Bengals are fresh off of a victory over the Indianapolis Colts but can’t afford to lose any ground in a hotly contested AFC North.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings squeezed out a 3-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week and are just one game up for the final wild-card spot.

With so much at stake and the NFL Week 15 odds tight, there are great value plays to be made.

Vikings vs Bengals Odds

NFL odds used for this Minnesota vs Cincinnati preview were found at FanDuel Sportsbook and are current as of December 13 at 4 p.m. ET.

  • Moneyline: Bengals (-178) • Vikings (+150)
  • Spread: Bengals -3 (-118) • Vikings +3 (-104)
  • Total Points: Over 40 (-110) • Under 40 (-110)
  • Implied Score: Bengals 21.5, Vikings 17.5

Vikings vs Bengals Predictions

Score Pick: Cincinnati Bengals 24, Minnesota Vikings 13

In what should be a rather controlled contest, the Cincinnati Bengals have far too much offensive firepower against a Vikings team that is looking to reignite their offense.

In a battle between backup quarterbacks, Nick Mullens has shined before, so there is a chance for chaos, but Jake Browning has been stellar in his past two starts, and that should roll over into Week 15.

Vikings vs Bengals Best Bets & Props

Ja’Marr Chase Over 65.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

For the NFL bet of the day, it’s important to note that Ja’Marr Chase received 12 targets in the Bengals’ Week 13 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last week against the Colts, that number dropped to just four targets.

Chase is one of the best receivers in terms of physicality, and although the Vikings’ secondary has taken major strides since the beginning of the year, the issue of size remains.

While the Vikings held DaVante Adams to 53 yards last week, players like Courtland Sutton, DJ Moore, and Chris Olave surpassed the number for this Over against the Vikings in previous weeks. Expect Chase to get fed often.

Jake Browning Over 240.5 passing yards (-114)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Who doesn’t love a good stack? Browning has impressed to this point as the team’s backup quarterback.

The Bengals will likely continue to rely on him, especially with RBs Joe Mixon and Chase Brown battling for snaps in the backfield.

Browning surpassed the total for this Over in both of his last two outings and should continue to find success against the Vikings despite their 13th-ranked passing defense.

Jordan Addison Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

bet365 Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Until Mullens entered the game, Jordan Addison had just one catch for seven yards against the Raiders. When Mullens was in, Addison had a 20-yard gain that helped him get to 27 for the day.

With Mullens as the starting QB all game, there should be more targets for the team’s top weapons. With Justin Jefferson likely to be held out as a precaution, despite saying he’s ready to go, TJ Hockenson and Addison will be tasked with stepping up as targets.

The Bengals allow the sixth-most passing yards in the NFL, so the rookie should outperform this line.

Vikings vs Bengals Same-Game Parlay

Vikings vs Bengals SGP (+390)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit(s)

  • Jake Browning Over 240.5 Passing Yards (-114)
  • Ja’Marr Chase Over 65.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
  • Ja’Marr Chase Any Time TD (+130)
  • Over 31.5 (-370)

In what should be a Ja’Marr Chase game, roll with the Bengals to be able to find success through the air.

Maybe Nick Mullens has some magic up his sleeve to steal the victory, but there is no answer for Chase in the Vikings’ secondary.

Both Browning and Mullens should be able to connect for yardage and a score of their own.
