Christmas is just around the corner, which means there are several exciting sporting events for fans and bettors to look forward to. In addition to the annual NBA holiday five-game slate, there’s also a pair of NFL contests.
If you’re looking for a place to wager on this year’s Christmas action, consider Fubo Sportsbook. While you’re probably already familiar with Fubo TV, their sportsbook also has an outstanding for new users that provides you with a second-chance bet up to $1,000 on your first wager.
Read Kevin Davis’s Fubo Sportsbook review to learn more about this exciting welcome offer, or click the “Get Bonus" button.
With that in mind, let’s dig into a couple of NBA and NFL wagers to consider for Christmas.
While Fubo has yet to release any promotions around the two NFL Week 16 games taking place on Christmas, you can check out their odds and start placing bets in the meantime.
The Green Bay Packers will host the Cleveland Browns in the first game of our NFL Christmas doubleheader.
The Browns are coming off an absolute gut punch of a loss on Monday night against the Raiders, losing on a last-second field goal. Meanwhile, the Packers eked out a one-point road victory over the Ravens in Week 15 for their third straight win.
Cleveland is also still dealing with the aftermath of a COVID-19 breakout that saw around 20 players miss their contest against the Raiders, including quarterback Baker Mayfield, running back Kareem Hunt, and wideout Jarvis Landry. We still don’t know who is going to be suiting up for the Browns just yet, but we know they’ll be playing against Aaron Rodgers and the high-flying Green Bay offense.
I wouldn’t overthink this one too much. The Packers are playing at home and are clearly the more talented, let alone healthier, team.
While Fubo has yet to release any odds or promotions around the five NBA games taking place on Christmas, there will be plenty of game and prop betting opportunities out there, including a Western Conference showdown I’m looking out for.
The final sporting event of the Christmas Day calendar isn’t the most exciting one, but it should provide some solid value to bettors out there.
The Jazz are a quality all-around team, led by Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, that functions at a high level on both ends of the court. On the other hand, the Mavs rely heavily on the all-world talent of Luka Doncic, who just entered health and safety protocols on Wednesday.
Even Dallas can get Doncic back in time to play on Saturday, I like Utah’s chances to blow this game open at home.
