The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions go at it in a surprising NFC Divisional Round matchup that projects to be a high-scoring affair.

Quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff are each in great spots against vulnerable pass defenses, so it looks like we’ve got a shootout on tap in Detroit. That’s a great thing for NFL betting fans who plan on making NFL Divisional Round prop bets.

The Lions are relatively high favorites in this game, which could force Baker and the Bucs’ passing game to air it out at an even higher rate than usual. With that in mind, check out our best Divisional Round Same Game Parlays and player props for Lions vs. Buccaneers below.

NFL odds used in these parlays are current as of Thurs. Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. ET from DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Bucs rank 8th in Pass EPA on offense, while the Lions are 25th in the same category on defense, so there’s a clear mismatch here.

All we need is 21 points to hit this prop, which is a low bar considering how well the Bucs’ passing game has performed with Baker Mayfield under center and Dave Canales calling plays.

Since most of Tampa’s success should come through the air, that makes it easier for them to get 21+, since the passing game is much more efficient in terms of scoring points compared to rushing yardage.

That leads right into my next prop, which is Rachaad White Under 54.5 Rushing Yards. The Lions are much more stout in run defense, ranking 4th in Rush EPA.

What’s great about adding White’s Under to Tampa team total Over is that the two plays have negative correlation, giving us (+325) odds. For context, if I took White Over, it would pay (+190) odds.

As mentioned, the Bucs should get most of their offensive yardage through the passing game, meaning that they could still easily get to 21+ points with a low rushing output from White.

We could see Tampa throw more swing passes to White out of the backfield to act as an extension of the running game.

Take advantage of the odds boost with the negative correlation by targeting these two plays.

Longshot Lions vs. Buccaneers Same Game Parlay

Lions vs. Buccaneers Longshot Parlay (+650)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.25 units

  • Mike Evans
  • Sam LaPorta 50+ Receiving Yards (+120)

The Bucs vs Lions longshot parlay starts off with Mike Evans, who is in a smash spot in an indoor game against the Lions, who have gotten torched by opposing wideouts all year long.

Just take a look at some of the big performances by receivers vs Detroit this season:

  • Puka Nacua (Wild Card): 181 yards
  • Justin Jefferson (Week 18): 192 yards
  • CeeDee Lamb (Week 17): 227 yards
  • Justin Jefferson (Week 16): 141 yards
  • Chris Olave (Week 13): 119 yards
  • Keenan Allen (Week 10): 175 yards

We’ve seen Evans go for 100+ yards in three games this season. This looks like a great spot to hit that number once again.

I’ll finish it off with Sam LaPorta to rack up 50+ receiving yards, which is right at his season average (52.3 yards per game).

It’s a good matchup vs the Bucs, who have given up 59.3 yards per game to opposing tight ends.

The reason why we’re getting this low bar at plus odds is because LaPorta (knee) is currently banged up. While he only played 40% snaps last week, we still saw 80% route participation, which bodes well.

Reports indicate that LaPorta is feeling a bit better this week, so we could see more regular usage from the star rookie tight end. All we need is 50+ yards here, which is a reasonable outcome.
