The 34-year-old always tends to play his best golf at the major championships and has some noteworthy lead-in form after winning LIV Golf Singapore in his most recent start.
He has finished inside the top 20 in eight of his last 10 starts at the PGA Championship, including a T-15 at Valhalla in 2014.
Koepka should be among the contenders on Sunday, making this a strong play at relatively even odds.
Tournament Matchup: Wyndham Clark def. Justin Thomas (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Wyndham Clark is one of my favorite PGA Championship picks for this week, so backing him in a matchup against 2022 champion Justin Thomas makes a lot of sense.
Clark has arguably been the third-best player on the PGA Tour this season behind Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, producing a win and two runner-up finishes this year.
Meanwhile, Thomas hasn’t looked like himself for much of the season and split with caddie Jim “Bones" Mackay ahead of The Masters. Plus, the Louisville native will have to deal with the added stress and pressure of playing a hometown major this week.
The implied odds give Clark a 54.5% chance to win this matchup, but I think it’s closer to 60-40.
Top Canadian: Taylor Pendrith (+360) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
This market is suddenly loaded, with Corey Conners (+240), Mackenzie Hughes (+400), Adam Hadwin (+500), Nick Taylor (+550), and Adam Svensson (+800) all providing legitimate competition for Pendrith.
However, the 32-year-old has the driving distance required to compete at Valhalla, ranking ninth on the PGA Tour in that category this season.

Pendrith is also in top form, having finished 11th or better in his last four starts. He also picked up his first career victory earlier this month, taking home the Byron Nelson.
Look for him to continue that strong run this week in his second PGA Championship start.
Round 1: Adrian Meronk def. Tiger Woods (-160) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
I’d love to see this Tiger Woods prop lose, but the odds aren’t enticing enough to back the four-time PGA Championship winner.
Woods hasn’t played since finishing solo 60th at The Masters, which was the worst spot on the leaderboard of any player who made the cut. Frankly, I worry about his ability to hold up at tougher courses like Valhalla, with thick rough putting more strain on his back.
Meronk is a long hitter on LIV Golf who should have success on this track. He’s coming off a T-10 finish in Singapore and made the cut at last year’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill.
He should outplay Woods on Thursday.
