NFL Week 7 Best Bets

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans

The Chiefs got a much-needed win in Week 6, defeating Washington on the road. However, it took a while before Kansas City started to look like the team that made it to the Super Bowl last season.

The offense sputtered in the first half with two red-zone interceptions. But they were able to create enough plays on offense in the second half to pull away.

They’ll face the Titans in Week 7, who are coming off a Monday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, Tennessee still has significant issues in their secondary, and their pass rush woes haven’t been solved.

The Titans will likely win the AFC South this year, but they don’t have the offense or defense to keep pace with the Chiefs. Expect a high-scoring game, but for the Chiefs to win on the road for the second-straight week.

Chiefs vs. Titans Prediction: Chiefs 34, Titans 27

Chiefs vs. Titans Best Bet: Chiefs -4.5 (-110) at Caesars

After several weeks of not covering last season, the Chiefs finally got a cover in Week 6. Can they do it again in Week 7 against a likely playoff opponent?

With this spread only being 4.5 points, it feels like the Chiefs are in a great spot here. They should win by at least a touchdown, but even a 34-28 type of game would be fine for bettors. The Titans are talented but not capable enough to win this game or cover the 4.5 point spread.

Chiefs vs. Titans Best Bet: Over 56.5 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

If you like points, this is the game for you. Titans RB Derrick Henry should have a field day in this game, and the Titans should be able to score 24+ points easily. But the Chiefs should be able to treat this game like a 7-on-7 game with no real threat of a pass rush from the Titans.

It wouldn’t be a shock if the Chiefs managed to score 40 points in this game as the Titans just don’t have the defensive backs to keep up with Kansas City.

New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

The Patriots just lost a game in New England that they never used to lose. They held a halftime lead, and they forced multiple red-zone turnovers and a missed field goal with less than four minutes left in the game. And still, they were unable to beat the Dallas Cowboys in overtime.

Sitting at 2-4, the Patriots desperately need a win to stay alive in the AFC Wild Card. Luckily for them, the Jets and Zach Wilson come to town in Week 7. The Patriots forced four interceptions in their early meeting this year, and the defense will likely be fired up once again.

Bill Belichick just doesn’t lose to rookie quarterbacks, and they will be the most desperate team entering this game. Look for the Patriots to win by double digits in Week 7 against their division rival.

Jets vs. Patriots Prediction: Patriots 24, Jets 13

Jets vs. Patriots Best Bet: Patriots -7 (-110) at Caesars

Shockingly, the Patriots aren’t giving at least 7 points in this game. They have had so much success against the Jets over the last decade and even dominated them earlier this season. This feels like a statement game for the Patriots as the Jets could struggle to even score 14 points in this game.

With Mac Jones playing better by the week, this should be an easy cover for the Patriots on Sunday.

Jets vs. Patriots Best Bet: Under 42.5 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

In the first meeting between these two teams, a total of 31 points were scored. The Jets put up just six points, and it was among the worst offensive showings of the season.

Expect the Jets to be slightly better on offense in this game, but not much. It would be quite a feat if they scored more than 17 points. New England should have a similar amount of success in this game on offense but not enough to be concerned about the point total.

Take the Under with confidence in this game.

Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants

After a 3-0 start, the Panthers have suddenly lost their last three games. They did take the Minnesota Vikings into overtime but could not get a stop on defense when they needed it the most.

In Week 7, they will take on the Giants at the Meadowlands in a “get-right” game for Carolina. The Giants have one of the league’s worst offenses and have a significant amount of injuries on offense.

The Giants could be without several of Daniel Jones’ top playmakers, including Kadarius Toney. With all of the Giants’ problems on the offensive line, this could be a long day again for New York.

Panthers vs. Giants Prediction: Panthers 23, Giants 17

Panthers vs. Giants Best Bet: Panthers -2.5 (-120) at Caesars

Sam Darnold did not play particularly well in Week 6, but he did start to put things together in the second half. As long as he doesn’t make too many mistakes or throw multiple interceptions, the Panthers should win this game with the defense alone.

Panthers vs. Giants Best Bet: Under 44 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

Both teams will be without their star running backs, and neither offensive line has played well this season. This game has all the makings of a defensive struggle and a game in which 23 points will likely be enough to win.

It’s also a contest in which neither quarterback inspires a lot of confidence, making the Under an even safer bet.
