CoinsBack Casino went live this May, and I’ve put together this CoinsBack Casino review to explain more about the CoinsBack feature on Sweeps Coin (SC) gameplay, along with discussing their state availability, slot titles, and more.

You don’t need to purchase any Gold Coins (GCs) there, but you can get what they’re calling a ‘free $10 welcome pack’ when you sign up. This brings you 500,000 GCs and 10 SCs once you’ve completed your account verification. I also got instant access to the CoinsBack loyalty program, known as CoinsClub. Find out more about it below.

Before We Go Further… Is CoinsBack Casino Legit?

Absolutely - its owner, MW Services Limited, is clear about the social casino format where you can play casino-style games. This means they don’t need to hold a casino license. They provide their full Gibraltar-based address on the website, too.

Currently, you can join CoinsBack from 37 US states. There are 13 states excluded from the sweepstakes casino, including Maryland, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada.

They’ve also got a minimum age requirement of 21 years, so you’ll need to meet that as well if you want to join from an eligible state. The exception here would be if your legal state has a higher limit that you’d need to meet.

Can You Claim a CoinsBack Casino Bonus if You Join?

Yes - the current offer gives you a free welcome $10 Coin pack when you join. That’s the term given to the pack by the site, but you should be aware that you don’t need to purchase any Gold Coins to participate on the site, so this is free to you when you join. You can’t purchase Sweeps Coins since they’re available only to collect to use on sweepstakes titles.

The Welcome Details in Full

You’ll receive 500,000 Gold Coins and 10 Sweeps Coins as your CoinsBack Casino bonus when you sign up. You’ll need to verify your email address and confirm your mobile number to complete the process.

You’ll then have two ways to play:

  • Gold Coins (GCs) give you access to fun games in casual format
  • Sweeps Coins (SCs) give you access to sweepstakes gameplay

I didn’t need a promo code for this, but you can always check the banners here in case I have one to share with you. Furthermore, if you drop below 100 Gold Coins at any point, you might get a top-up of 15,000 GCs to keep you going.

SC Redemption Possibilities

You can’t redeem Gold Coin winnings for real prizes, but you can redeem Sweeps Coin winnings. CoinsBack Casino lets you do this via two methods:

  • Redeem 50 SCs in winnings for a Prizeout gift card
  • Redeem 100 SCs in winnings for a cash prize

You’ll need to meet the playthrough requirement on SCs before you can redeem your winnings for those. It means you’ll need to play them at least once and meet the thresholds for redemption.

What Did I Find While Writing This CoinsBack Casino Review?

Once I’d signed up, I had a look around and soon began trying some of their casino-style games. Some similar sites stick with slots, but I was pleased to see a little more variety at CoinsBack. Let me share what I found.

Who Supplies the Casino-Style Games?

I found a few major brands involved here:

  • Habanero
  • BGaming
  • Hacksaw Gaming
  • Evoplay
  • Betsoft

I also realized there were some CoinsBack Originals available, i.e., titles you won’t find anywhere else. That adds some more depth to the collection, which is always welcome.

If you’re wondering about categories, you’ll find far more than just slots to play. Obviously, you’ll have originals to try, but you’ll also find these options:

  • Megaways
  • Hold & Win
  • Plinko
  • Dice
  • Mines
  • Top-rated titles

You’ll spot a separate category covering all the CoinsBack Originals titles, so if you fancy something different, that’s where to go.

How Many Titles Can You Play?

I found well over 1,000 titles available to play when I signed up, but I’d recommend that you keep an eye on the New Games category. While CoinsBack launched with a great selection, they’ve added more since, too. And that’s where you’ll find them.

Two of my favorites just now are Coins of Zeus Hold & Win from Betsoft, and Aztec Magic Megaways from BGaming. You’ll find plenty more themes at CoinsBack too, including everything from candy-filled slots to classic slots.

Usability and Access

You don’t need to worry about downloading anything to use CoinsBack Casino. There’s no app, and my testing proved that the mobile site was a delight to use. I also played on my computer and had no issues there either. Very smooth all round.

You might prefer playing on a tablet instead of a smartphone, purely because of the screen size you’ve got to work with. That said, I still had a great time playing slots on my iPhone. I tried each title using Gold Coins first, just until I was familiar with how it worked.

CoinsBack Casino Even Has a Loyalty Program

They’ve called it CoinsClub and I automatically got membership to this when I signed up to play at CoinsBack Casino. You’ll start at the lowest Bronze level, whereby you need to begin collecting XP points from playing the titles at CoinsBack.

You can then progress through various levels to see how high you can go. The highlight of reaching each new level of the program is receiving some Sweeps Coins each time. As you can imagine, you’ll get more SCs the higher you go.

You’ll Also Receive CoinsBack From SC Spins

I’ve saved the best for last in this section. Whenever you play using Sweeps Coins, you’ll immediately receive 50% back, based on the SC house edge of the title you’re playing. It doesn’t matter whether you’re successful or not with a spin of a slot - you always get that 50% back. It’s a great feature I haven’t seen at any other sweepstakes casino.

Here’s What I Found Out About Payments at CoinsBack Casino

I appreciated seeing some clarity on this topic, as it made it easier to figure out what I could - and couldn’t - do. While you never need to purchase any Gold Coins, you will find a few ways to do it if you decide you’d like to. You’ve got options when redeeming SC winnings, too.

Ways to Make Optional GC Purchases

You’ll be able to collect more Gold Coins during your membership of CoinsBack Casino. However, if you fancy purchasing some, you can use a range of credit or debit cards to do so - just make sure your chosen card is in your name.

Alternatively - and perhaps a better option for mobile users - I found I could use Apple Pay to complete an optional Gold Coin purchase on my iPhone. If you use Android, don’t worry - you can go for Google Pay instead.

How the SC Redemption Process Works

Some sweepstakes casinos only allow cash prizes when you win enough eligible SCs. However, at CoinsBack, I could choose between two options:

  • Prizeout digital gift cards
  • Cash prizes

Don’t forget the 1x minimum playthrough requirement before you can redeem your Sweeps Coins winnings. You also have different minimums to meet, with 50 SCs in winnings giving you the chance to redeem them for a gift card, and 100 SCs in winnings required for a cash prize.

If you go for the latter, you can choose from card methods or redeeming a cash prize direct to your bank account. Make sure you’ve completed all necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) steps before you try and redeem your SC winnings.

Testing the Customer Service Facilities at CoinsBack

I like to see a decent help center at a sweepstakes casino, and fortunately, I found just that at CoinsBack while I was putting together my CoinsBack Casino review. It means I can search for the info I need without having to contact someone for assistance.

Live Chat Availability

If you get stuck for some answers, don’t worry - you also have the opportunity to use their live chat facility, provided via Intercom, which you can access from the website. Coupled with the help center, you’ve got support around the clock.

Social Media Access

I did find logos on the CoinsBack website, confirming they’ve got pages at Facebook, Instagram, and X. As you’d expect from a fresh site, they don’t have too much content on there just yet, but I think it’s worth following them on one platform to see what they might post. And of course, you can interact with them there as well.

CoinsBack Casino Joins the Sweepstakes Fray

The sweepstakes casino field is packed with plenty of sites, but occasionally I spot a new one that aims to be different. CoinsBack Casino is one such site, and with 500,000 GCs and 10 SCs available to newcomers, that’s just the start of the positive points to note.

You can check out the site by using one of the links I’ve given you in my review. You’ll see some of their casino-style games highlighted on the landing page, with the full suite of titles available if you join. With the CoinsBack feature offering 50% of the Sweeps Coin house edge back on each spin, you can see it aims to stand out - and it manages it with some style, too.
