Hype Prediction Markets: List of Sites To Trade Hype

When talking about crypto prediction markets, BTC and ETH often lead. However, I discovered HYPE prediction markets on Kalshi and Polymarket and became interested in the token. I’ll explain how they work on this page.

For starters, HYPE is Hyperliquid’s native token, which became popular after a massive airdrop in late 2024. The token has an active community pushing its adoption and price. As such, I wasn’t surprised when top US prediction market apps listed HYPE, allowing users to trade event contracts on its price. Keep reading to learn more.

Quick Facts About HYPE Prediction Market Trading

  • HYPE prediction markets feature tradable Yes/No event contracts on the token’s price.
  • You receive a $1 payout for each winning event contract.
  • Kalshi and Polymarket are the best prediction market apps for HYPE.

What Are HYPE Prediction Markets?

In prediction markets, you’re not trading the actual HYPE token. Instead, you buy and sell event contracts, usually based on HYPE’s price movements. Each contract costs $0.01 to $0.99 and features a simple Yes or No question, which you pick according to your prediction.

To illustrate, here’s a 15-minute HYPE market I saw on one of the sites I reviewed:

HYPE price in 15 minutesYesNo
Up$0.60$0.44
Down$0.44$0.60

Looking at the above table, the market is pretty simple. You buy Yes contracts for Up if you predict the price of HYPE to increase in the next 15 minutes. If you don’t think that will happen, you buy No. When trading in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Solana prediction markets, the Yes/No pattern isn’t different.

Reading Event Contract Prices

The prices of HYPE event contracts are market-driven, as the system is peer-to-peer (P2P). So, sites like Kalshi and Polymarket don’t assign the rates. As more traders buy a particular contract, its price increases, and vice versa. You can also read the amounts as probabilities.

Consider the 15-minute market I presented as an example earlier. The $0.60 Yes price means a 60% likelihood that HYPE goes up, and the $0.44 No rate indicates a 44% probability that it drops.

Now, $0.60 and $0.44 add up to $1.04 instead of $1 because of differences in bid-ask prices as traders buy and sell. That extra $0.04 is the spread, which, from my experience, is usually around $0.01 to $0.02. The reason it reached $0.04 is that short-term crypto prediction markets are much more volatile.

Payout

HYPE price markets have a simple payout pattern. If you get the prediction correct, you get paid $1 per event contract, but if you’re wrong, it’s $0.

Back to my example, I bought 10 Yes contracts for HYPE’s price to go up, at $6 in total. The prediction happened, so my payout was $10, meaning a $4 gain. It’s possible to sell your contracts anytime, though, as you don’t have to always wait until settlement.

Best Sites for Trading in HYPE Price Prediction Markets

At this point, I’m sure you’re familiar with how Hyperliquid prediction markets work. Here are my top two apps for trading the event contracts in the US:

Kalshi – Best for Long-Term Prediction Markets

I suggest using Kalshi if you wish to trade long-term HYPE event contracts. By long-term, I mean events that settle over days, weeks, or months. In my review, I noted that such markets often have high liquidity on Kalshi, sometimes exceeding $22,000.

More liquidity means your trades will execute faster, and you’ll deal with minimal bid-ask spreads. One HYPE prediction market I traded in on Kalshi was about how high the token’s price will get in a month. I bought No contracts at $0.83 for the price to exceed $80, and my prediction was correct.

If you join Kalshi in the US, you can claim a $10 sign-up bonus. I got it by trading just $10 on prediction markets, after creating my account, and the offer fully supports HYPE events.

Polymarket – Best for Short-Term Prediction Markets

On Polymarket, I found 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, and 4-hour Hyperliquid prediction markets. The range is why I recommend the app for short-term trading, but usability is another important factor. You see, such markets change quickly, and Polymarket makes it easy to track all updates.

I checked the HYPE 5-minute markets on Polymarket and saw simple Up or Down event contracts. The app features an Up gauge, instantly showing you the probability of the token’s price increasing. Also, as traders buy and sell, the amounts flash on your screen in real-time.

After joining Polymarket, I received a $20 welcome bonus using the brand’s featured promo code. You can also get it when you install the iOS app.

Yes, the two apps I reviewed, Kalshi and Polymarket, are legal in the US at the federal level. They’re regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which lets them offer prediction markets in the country. However, it’s still necessary to consider your local regulations because rules can change.

The CFTC approves prediction market apps at a federal level, but availability still depends on your state. For example, if you’re in Nevada, you can’t trade event contracts on Kalshi or Polymarket.

Types of HYPE Prediction Markets

From my experience trading HYPE event contracts, the token’s prediction markets are of four main types. Check them out below:

1. Up/Down

This category is the simplest, and it’s often linked to short-term markets. Examples are HYPE 15-minute markets, where you predict if the token’s real-time price will rise or fall within the timeframe. I also see Up/Down options for 15-minute and 1-hour prediction markets.

2. Above/Below

I initially thought Up/Down and Above/Below are the same, but there’s a difference. With Above/Below, you’re predicting whether the HYPE price will cross or stay under a particular amount on a specific date.

During my review of HYPE prediction markets 2026, I saw these Above/Below options for how high the token will reach in June:

  • Above $80.00
  • Above $77.50
  • Below $52.50
  • Below $55.50

Therefore, these Above/Below predictions usually have two or more markets, each with individual Yes and No prices.

3. Price Range

From the description, you can tell this prediction market involves predicting what range the HYPE price will fall into on a given date. Based on my findings, the options often look like this:

  • $60 to $80
  • $55 to $70
  • < $60
  • > $75

I consider price range markets to be one of the safest for trading since the predictions are more open.

4. Hit Price

This final category on my list requires predicting the price HYPE will reach in a particular period. Here’s an example of what price HYPE will hit in a day:

  • $75
  • $80
  • $85

If you believe Hyperliquid’s price will hit $80, for instance, you buy Yes contracts for the event. The trade will pay out if the token reaches $80 on that day, even if it later drops or rises further.

How to Choose the Best HYPE Prediction Market App

In case you’re wondering, I didn’t pick Kalshi and Polymarket at random. I tested the apps to confirm that they’re dependable, and these are the primary factors I considered:

Regulation

Of course, I can’t trade in prediction markets not under CFTC oversight. Kalshi and Polymarket meet that requirement, as they’re regulated by the commission in the United States. Trading on a regulated app means your funds and personal information are safe. In my review of Bitcoin, Tether, Solana, and Binance prediction markets, I also prioritized this factor.

Market Range

If your options for prediction markets on HYPE are limited, trades become stale. For that reason, I pick apps that cover the major categories, including Up/Down, Above/Below, price range, and hit price. The timeframes also count, as I want minutes, hourly, daily, monthly, and even annually.

Liquidity

The aim here is to avoid thin prediction markets. If there’s low liquidity, bid-ask spreads become bigger and can reduce potential payouts from successful trades. Thankfully, Kalshi and Polymarket are widely used, and they have many traders who engage in crypto event contracts like HYPE.

Payment Methods

Since HYPE price prediction markets move fast, you won’t want any payment delays. So, I go for apps with fast and familiar options for deposits and withdrawals. Of my top two, Kalshi is ideal if you prefer fiat payment methods such as credit/debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH bank transfers.

However, if you’re a crypto enthusiast like myself, you can consider Polymarket, which only supports USDC on Polygon. That said, you can still deposit with other cryptocurrencies and convert to USDC on Polymarket.

Customer Service

From time to time, you may have questions or encounter issues when trading HYPE prediction markets. Only responsive customer service can help, and that’s what I look for. I test the support team’s performance via live chat and email, and only trade if they’re reliable.

My Strategies for Trading HYPE Prediction Contracts

Using the best apps for HYPE price prediction markets 2026 doesn’t automatically mean successful trades. You still have to do your homework to know what event contracts are suitable. To assist you, here are some strategies I advise:

StrategyDescription
Understand HYPE’s volatilityIn my experience, different factors affect variance in the crypto market. For Hyperliquid, it’s often trading milestones, protocol upgrades, and competitor actions, to name a few. Always look out for these indicators when researching what direction the token’s price is headed.
Still pay attention to BTCAltcoins tend to have some correlation with Bitcoin. So, it’s still necessary to consider BTC’s price movements. If Bitcoin is experiencing a bear market, there’s a high probability that other altcoins, HYPE included, will see a drop in price.
Start with long-term contractsIf you’re new to HYPE price prediction markets, I don’t suggest fast 5-minute or 15-minute contracts. It’s better to opt for hourly, daily, or weekly contracts, which give you more time to monitor your trades. As you understand the prediction markets better, you can switch to minute-level events.
Compare pricing before tradingI use Kalshi and Polymarket, and I compare contract prices on both before buying or selling. By doing so, I can spot differences in probabilities and which app offers the best liquidity for a particular outcome.

Pros and Cons of Hyperliquid Prediction Markets

Judging from my review of HYPE event contracts, these are the upsides and downsides I discovered:

Pros

  1. Regulated by the CFTC
  2. Different types of prediction options
  3. $1 payout per winning event contract

Cons

  1. Liquidity is often lower than BTC/ETH

Conclusion – Trade HYPE Prices on Kalshi or Polymarket

HYPE may not be as popular as BTC and ETH, but there’s no debate that the token has momentum. As a trader, you can speculate on HYPE’s price with event contracts in prediction markets. All it takes is signing up on the right app.

From my reviews, I’ve selected Kalshi and Polymarket as the best two options to consider. Both support Hyperliquid predictions in short-term and long-term markets. Plus, you can select options like Up/Down, price range, and more.

My ultimate verdict is to pick the app that best suits your trading preferences between Kalshi and Polymarket, or go with both. Then, click the banners on this page to visit and register for an account. Don’t forget to apply my pro tips as you start trading.
