Panthers Betting Odds 2022 | Panthers Best Prop Bets
The Carolina Panthers were one of the worst teams in the NFC in 2021, finishing with a 5-12 record.
That mark ranked as the third-worst in the NFC and was good for last place in the NFC South. The expectation heading into 2021 for the Panthers was to be near the bottom of the barrel in the NFL, but key injuries and poor variance made things even worse.
Carolina had a solid draft as they addressed their main holes on the offensive line and at quarterback. They selected offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu at No. 6 overall and snagged Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral in Round 3.
As things stand, there is not a ton to be hopeful for this season in Carolina. The 2022 campaign could look a lot like 2021 as the Panthers continue to try to find answers to their rebuild.
Let’s discuss some futures odds that can present solid betting value within this mess.
These Panthers futures bet odds are current as of Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m. ET and courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook. Be careful, as many of these NFL odds might shift as we get closer to the 2022 NFL season.

Panthers Super Bowl 57 Odds
Panthers to Win Super Bowl (+10000)
All in all, the Panthers are a long-shot to make the playoffs and are quite frankly a long-shot to win their division. They are currently tied for the fourth-longest odds to win the Super Bowl heading into the season.
The offense, outside of Christian McCaffrey and DJ Moore, leaves a lot to be desired and the defense is atrocious.
The odds on the Panthers to win the Super Bowl at (+10000) make a lot of sense as they are a clear stay-away despite the jackpot-type odds.
Panthers NFC Championship Odds
Panthers to Win NFC Championship (+5000)
Carolina is currently listed at (+5000) odds to win the NFC Championship at BetMGM.
While the NFC is quite top-heavy, the Panthers still figure to bring up the rear of the conference. The Rams are viewed by many as the best team in the NFC and there is no reasonable scenario where the Panthers topple them.
The NFC also includes Tom Brady and the Buccaneers and Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Despite the nice odds, it is extremely tough to even consider putting the Panthers in the mix.
Panthers NFC South Winner Odds
Panthers to Win NFC South Championship (+1200)
The NFC South is one of the weakest divisions in the NFL outside of the Buccaneers. The Saints are currently in the middle of a rebuild in the wake of Drew Brees‘s retirement and the Falcons figure to be amongst the league’s worst teams as well.
The Panthers will likely be fighting with New Orleans and Atlanta for second fiddle behind the Bucs, but their odds of winning the division are slim.
Panthers Make Playoffs Odds
Panthers to Make Playoffs (+500)
The Panthers are currently listed at 5-to-1 odds to make the playoffs, which makes sense. After a dreadful year in 2021, the team arguably has gotten even worse for this upcoming season.
If the Panthers were to make the playoffs, it would be a true Cinderella story. They might be lucky to win one game in their own division this year, assuming they could split with the Falcons.
Panthers Win Total Bets 2022
Panthers: OVER 5.5 Wins (-120)
While it’s unlikely the Panthers win many football games this season, I believe six wins is firmly within reach. The Panthers have the 12th toughest strength of schedule in 2022 based on their opponents’ 2021 records, but a lot of their games are truly winnable.
Games that I see as possible wins for the Panthers include home games with the Browns, Steelers, and Lions as well as both sets of divisional games against the Falcons and Saints, and a trip to visit the Giants.
Most of their other games are against tough opponents, but if the Panthers can grab six wins out of these eight games, they will cover the Over 5.5 here.

Panthers Prop Bets 2022
Panthers: Finish 3rd in NFC South (+165)
I absolutely love this prop and the (+165) odds on it are too favorable to pass up. Out of all the Panthers bets discussed in this writing so far, this is by far my favorite one.
The Buccaneers to win the NFC South is about as close to a lock as you can find. The divisional picture behind them is a bit murkier, but when sorting it out, the Panthers are easily the third-best team in the NFC South. The Saints should be better than Carolina by a few wins and the Falcons could realistically win fewer than five games.
The Panthers will not hit this prop by playing well, but by playing less atrociously than the Falcons.

Christian McCaffrey: Wins Offensive Player of the Year (+1600)
McCaffrey is one of the most dynamic players in the NFL when he’s healthy. However, that ‘if’ is a big one considering he has not played a full season since 2019 and managed to feature in just ten games over the past two seasons.
This is a tough bet to place, but a small wager on such favorable odds is a nice play. McCaffrey will need to stay fully healthy to even have a chance at this, but with the Panthers in a world of hurt offensively, he should continue his high usage role in 2022.
