The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles square off a matchup between two of the most talented teams in the NFL.

Both sides are filled with some of the top players in the league, including Christian McCaffrey, A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and DeVonta Smith.

That makes it an ideal environment for targeting player props.

Let’s dive into the best prop bets for San Francisco vs Philadelphia in the NFC Championship Game.

49ers vs Eagles Player Props

Brock Purdy: Under 31.5 Pass Attempts (-104) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Brock Purdy has averaged 27.5 pass attempts per game in eight starts. He has failed to hit 32 or more pass attempts in six of those games.

This is a tough matchup against an Eagles defense that ranks first in Pass DVOA, per Football Outsiders. It’s also a hostile environment on the road, especially for a rookie quarterback.

Look for Kyle Shanahan to take a run-heavy approach to ease the pressure off Purdy. That means longer drives with fewer possessions, resulting in a lower number of pass attempts.

The path for this prop to lose would be if the 49ers fell behind by 10 or more, which I don’t see happening because of their elite defense.

Lock in the Under on Purdy’s pass attempts for the top player prop in this game.

Brandon Aiyuk: Under 46.5 Receiving Yards (-129) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Eagles’ elite pass defense should have the biggest impact on Brandon Aiyuk, whose 9.8 average target depth is the highest among 49ers’ pass-catchers.

That means that most of his looks are further down the field, which are lower percentage plays.

We’re not projecting a lot of passing volume from San Francisco here, so it’s going to be difficult for Aiyuk to eclipse this number.

It’s also worth noting that the Eagles limited opposing wideouts to only 7.02 yards per target during the season, which was the fourth best mark in the NFL.

Aiyuk also has to compete with Samuel, Kittle, and McCaffrey for targets. There are times where this talented wide receiver is the fourth option in this offense.

That bodes well for the Under on his receiving yards.

49ers vs Eagles Prop Bets

Eagles: Win by 1-6 Points (+280) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Eagles are favored by only 2.5 points in this game, meaning they’re projected to win in a close game.

There’s a good chance that Philadelphia wins by 1-6 points because the 49ers’ defense is playing at such a high level right now.

San Francisco has now won 12 games in a row, so it’s hard to see them losing by a touchdown or more here.

Roll with this prop for the strong value at +280 odds.

First Scoring Play: Eagles Field Goal (+350) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Since the Eagles are favored here, there’s a better chance that they’re the team that scores first.

San Francisco has limited opponents to only 14.9 points per game during their current 12-game winning streak, making it likely that touchdowns will be hard to come by in this game.

With that in mind, it’s worth a sprinkle to take the first scoring play to be an Eagles field goal. The value is too good to pass up at this price.
