The 2026 Genesis Invitational is the next stop on the PGA Tour’s California swing.
The signature event hosted by Tiger Woods returns to Riviera Country Club this year after being moved to the South Course at Torrey Pines in 2025 due to wildfires near Los Angeles.
Unlike last week’s signature event, which saw Collin Morikawa’s triumphantly return to the winner’s circle at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and collect $3.6 million, there will be a cut for the 72-player field, with the top 50 and ties, plus any players within 10 strokes of the lead after two rounds, making the weekend.
As we get set to return to Riviera CC, let’s dig into the odds board and my 2026 Genesis Invitational predictions.

2026 Genesis Invitational Winner Predictions
Collin Morikawa (+3000)
WAGER: 1 Unit
We’ve already seen Chris Gotterup win multiple times this season, so why can’t Morikawa go back-to-back?
The Los Angeles native finally relieved the pressure of not winning for more than two years, which should free him up to play well at a course that suits his prolific long-iron game.
Morikawa has finished 19th, sixth, and second in his previous three trips to Riviera and is coming off a week when he led the field in strokes gained approach (2.42 per round).
Even after the win, these odds are pretty reasonable, so I’m backing Morikawa with one of my best golf betting picks today.
Harris English (+3900)
WAGER: 0.75 Units
English has been consistently solid this season, posting a top-30 finish in each of his four starts.
The 36-year-old thrives on difficult golf courses and has finished 13th or better in his two most recent trips to Riviera.

English won the Farmers Insurance Open last year, proving he has what it takes to outlast the field on a difficult California track (Torrey Pines).
While he’ll need to put four strong rounds together this week, English’s course history and recent form are appealing at these odds.
2026 Genesis Invitational Best Bets
72-Hole Matchup: Akshay Bhatia (+100) vs Keegan Bradley
WAGER: 1 Unit
Bhatia led last week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am heading into the final round, but shot a Sunday 72 to finish in a tie for sixth place.
Despite the disappointment of failing to close out the win, the 24-year-old lefty put together another impressive performance after finishing in a tie for third in Phoenix the week prior.
On the other hand, Bradley hasn’t quite found his best form to start the 2026 season, with his T-29 finish at Pebble Beach serving as his best result thus far.
The 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain hasn’t fared well at Riviera in recent years, finishing no better than 48th in his previous five trips. He has missed the cut three times during that span, including each of the previous two editions at this course (2024 and 2023).
While Bhatia has no prior history at Riviera, I’ll trust his recent form in a head-to-head matchup against Bradley.
Top-20 Finish: Patrick Cantlay (-120)
WAGER: 1.2 Units
I considered Cantlay as an outright wager, but it’s hard to have faith in a guy who hasn’t won since August 2022.
That said, few players have a better history at Riviera CC than Cantlay, who has posted six top-20 finishes in his previous seven starts here. That run includes three top-five finishes, including a solo fourth in 2024 and a solo third in 2023.
Cantlay hasn’t particularly contended in three starts this season, but he has managed top-20 finishes at the American Express (T-13) and Pebble Beach Pro-Am (T-14).
The 33-year-old California native is more than capable of cashing this finishing prop even without his best stuff, and he’s shown the ability to post a number on Sunday to climb the leaderboard if needed.
