NFL Power Rankings Week 15 | What Are the Latest Team Power Rankings 2021

Last Updated: Dec 14, 2021

Week 14 of the NFL season featured several games that looked to be out of hand early, only to come down to the wire. It was a crazy week in the NFL as several contenders in the AFC lost, making the conference even more difficult to figure out going into the final month of the year.

So who are the best teams in the NFL heading into Week 15? Let’s rank them from 32-1 to find out.

All playoff lines and odds are courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

NFL Power Rankings for Week 15

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-11) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: N/A

The Jaguars are a disaster right now. The Urban Meyer experience has been worse than imaginable and Trevor Lawrence is really regressing. At this point, it would be a surprise if Meyer returned to the team in 2022.

31. Houston Texans (2-11) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: N/A

After benching Tyrod Taylor for the rest of the season, it appears the Texans are trying to tank in order to secure a top-three pick. It’s hard to blame them considering this is one of the worst rosters in the NFL.

30. Detriot Lions (1-11-1) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: N/A

After getting their first win of the season last week, Detroit fell back to Earth in Week 14. However, they were still able to run the ball, and they averaged 5.6 yards per carry against the Broncos.

They need to add more weapons on offense, but maybe this team isn’t quite as far away as we thought a few weeks ago.

29. New York Jets (3-10) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: N/A

It’s the same story for the Jets every week. Zach Wilson is struggling, but the defense isn’t helping. They’ve lost a ton of weapons in the passing game due to injuries and they have no real running game to rely on.

The Jets are a few years away still from being a legitimate contender in the AFC.

28. Carolina Panthers (5-8) ⬇️ 3

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +100000

The Panthers are in a really bad spot right now. They are rotating quarterbacks, and Sam Darnold isn’t even part of that rotation while he deals with an injury.

The defense has really dropped off over the last two months and the offense is among the worst in the NFL. Through two years of the Matt Rhule rebuild, it’s tough to see any progress so far.

27. New York Giants (4-9) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +100000

Is this the beginning of the end of the Joe Judge era in New York?

The Giants were blown out by the Chargers despite Keenan Allen and Derwin James both missing this week. The offense continues to be uninspiring and the lack of effort and discipline is concerning.

26. Chicago Bears (4-9) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +100000

The Bears had a 10-point lead over the Packers at one point in Week 14, but the defense just couldn’t slow down Aaron Rodgers at all. The good news is that the Matt Nagy era is almost over in Chicago, which will allow the Bears to start fresh in 2022.

25. Atlanta Falcons (6-7) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +650
  • Super Bowl Odds: +50000

The Falcons have a point differential of -108 on the season, and yet, they still aren’t out of playoff contention in the NFC. If they can get to nine wins this year, they’ll have a great chance to make the playoffs and likely face the Green Bay Packers in Round 1.

Sounds fun, right?

24. Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) ⬇️ 3

  • Playoffs Odds: +900
  • Super Bowl Odds: +25000

The Raiders have now lost five of their last six games, and the offense is in a tailspin. Hunter Renfrow is the only bright spot on the team right now, as he’s gone over 100 yards in three consecutive games.

Other than that, it’s been a rough couple of months for the Raiders.

23. New Orleans Saints (6-7) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +350
  • Super Bowl Odds: +15000

Alvin Kamara returned to the lineup for the Saints and it made a huge difference to their offense. He touched the ball 31 times and ran all over the Jets.

The Saints aren’t quite out of the playoff picture yet, but their schedule isn’t all that easy either.

22. Seattle Seahawks (5-8) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +1800
  • Super Bowl Odds: +25000

Seattle has now won back-to-back games, and they aren’t quite out of the playoff picture just yet. However, their season will be decided this week as they will go to Los Angeles to take on the Rams.

They absolutely need a win in order to keep their playoff dreams alive.

21. Washington Football Team (6-7) ⬇️ 5

  • Playoffs Odds: +280
  • Super Bowl Odds: +15000

Washington’s defense did a good job of containing Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense in Week 14. However, the offense continues to be their downfall.

Washington had four turnovers against the Cowboys and averaged only 3.6 yards per play.

20. Philadelphia Eagles (6-7) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +160
  • Super Bowl Odds: +10000

The Eagles were off in Week 14 and they have only divisional games left this season. Their odds to win the NFC East have gone down significantly after the Cowboys won last week, but they still have a good chance to make the playoffs if they can win three of their next four games.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6-1) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +650
  • Super Bowl Odds: +15000

Pittsburgh’s defense continues to be a real problem. They can’t stop the run when they need to and just aren’t creating the number of turnovers we are accustomed to seeing.

However, Pittsburgh is still alive in the playoff hunt in the AFC and could potentially win the division at 9-7-1. Don’t rule them out of contention just yet.

18. Miami Dolphins (6-7) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: +750
  • Super Bowl Odds: +20000

The Dolphins didn’t even play in Week 14, but they rose in our power rankings. So many other AFC contenders lost in Week 14 and they had to move down.

Despite a 1-7 start, the Dolphins have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs this season. They’ll need to win at least three of their final four games, but that’s not impossible considering how well they have played over the last two months.

17. Denver Broncos (7-6) ⬆️ 5

  • Playoffs Odds: +300
  • Super Bowl Odds: +10000

The Broncos got an emotional win over the Lions in Week 14 and are firmly in the playoff hunt. However, they will play all three AFC West teams once again and they have a meeting against the Bengals here in Week 15.

It’s not impossible that they could get to 9-8, but it’s certainly going to be tough.

16. Minnesota Vikings (6-7) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +190
  • Super Bowl Odds: +8000

The Vikings nearly blew a 29-0 lead to the Steelers on Thursday Night Football, but they ultimately got the win. Dalvin Cook has returned to the lineup and will now have 11 days of rest before his next game.

As long as Minnesota can win at least two of their final four games, they should make the playoffs as a Wild Card.

15. Cleveland Browns (7-6) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +110
  • Super Bowl Odds: +4000

The Browns barely beat the Ravens despite Lamar Jackson missing most of the game with an ankle injury. The run game has been held in check over the last few weeks and needs to get going if they want to stay alive in a very competitive AFC North.

14. Buffalo Bills (7-6) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: -270
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1400

The Bills are one of the toughest teams in the NFL to figure out. They beat up on a lot of bad to average teams, but they rarely are able to defeat good teams (outside of their Week 3 win over the Chiefs).

They still should make the playoffs, but they need to win three of their final four to ensure that it happens.

13. Cincinnati Bengals (7-6) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +170
  • Super Bowl Odds: +5000

The Bengals didn’t get a win in Week 14, but there are a lot of reasons to think this is a playoff team this year. Joe Burrow continues to make the big play and Ja’Marr Chase is already a superstar. If the Bengals can find a way to win three of their final four games, they’ll likely win the AFC North this season.

Bet Tip: If the Bengals win two of their final four games, they should make the playoffs as a Wild Card team. At (+170), they seem like a good bet to make it. Look for them to get wins over the Broncos and Browns and maybe another one (at home) against the Ravens.

12. San Francisco 49ers (7-6) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -400
  • Super Bowl Odds: +3500

The 49ers went on the road and got a much-needed win over the Bengals. That was mostly due to George Kittle, who has totaled 337 yards with three touchdowns over the last two weeks.

He’s the best tight end in the NFL right now and the 49ers have all the makings of a dark horse contender in the NFC.

11. Indianapolis Colts (7-6) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: -220
  • Super Bowl Odds: +3500

The Colts were off this week, but they actually saw their odds to make the playoffs rise. Losses by the Ravens, Steelers, Bengals and Bills all helped their chances to earn a Wild Card berth rise. But their remaining schedule isn’t easy.

Up next are the New England Patriots coming off a bye.

10. Tennessee Titans (9-4) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: -5000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +2000

The Titans dominated the Jaguars in Week 14, but there’s not much that we can take away from that game. They averaged just 3.0 yards per carry and Ryan Tannehill struggled as a passer.

They’ll travel to Pittsburgh in Week 15 to take on the Steelers, which should tell us a lot about where the Titans are at this stage in the season.

9. Los Angeles Chargers (8-5) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -550
  • Super Bowl Odds: +2000

Is there any quarterback in the NFL right now that is more fun than Justin Herbert? Over the last six games, he’s completing over 71% of his passes and averaging 8.2 yards per attempt. That’s not to mention his nearly 200 rushing yards on the ground during that stretch.

It’s not a stretch to say that Herbert is already a top-three quarterback in the NFL.

8. Baltimore Ravens (8-5) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +3000

The Ravens have lost two games in a row, and their schedule doesn’t get any easier. They’ll face the Packers, Bengals and Rams in consecutive weeks.

Baltimore will likely need to win two of their final four games to win the division, which could be difficult considering Lamar Jackson’s play and health.

7. Los Angeles Rams (9-4) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: -10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1100

For the first time in a month, the Rams looked like a Super Bowl contender.

Matthew Stafford was incredible against the Cardinals, but the real story was Cooper Kupp. He caught 13 passes for 123 yards and scored a touchdown to build upon what has been one of the best seasons by a wide receiver in NFL history.

Bet Tip: Stafford’s return to form came at the perfect time for the Rams, who appear to be positioned nicely for a shot at the Super Bowl. At (+1100) odds, this may be the lowest this prop gets this season.

6. Dallas Cowboys (9-4) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1200

The offense for the Cowboys is still out of sorts, but the defense has been incredible the last few weeks. They have forced the second-most turnovers in the NFL this season (27) and might just have the Defensive Player of the Year in Micah Parsons.

5. New England Patriots (9-4) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +750

The Patriots were off in Week 14 and they’ll face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15. With a 2.5-game lead over the Bills, they have a great chance of winning the division and potentially owning the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (9-4) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: -3500
  • Super Bowl Odds: +600

Over the last five games, the Chiefs have allowed just 9.6 points per game on defense. They have been outstanding over the last two months, and it’s the reason why they’ve been able to win six consecutive games.

The offense did score 48 against the Raiders in Week 14 and is showing signs of life. Their biggest game of the season will come on Thursday as they will play the Los Angeles Chargers for the lead in the AFC West.

Bet Tip: The Chiefs continue to tell us just how dominant they really are, and it’s about time we listen. At (+600) odds, they’re as big a threat as any to win the Super Bowl this year.

3. Arizona Cardinals (10-3) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +900

The Cardinals split the season series with the Rams after they lost on Monday Night Football. However, there is no real reason to panic here.

Arizona is still an elite team with a few tough losses this season. They are still a lock to win the NFC West and host a home playoff game.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-3) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +500

At this point, Tom Brady looks like he is going to win MVP. He’s already thrown for 4,134 yards and has scored 38 touchdowns. There is a great chance he scores 50 touchdowns this season while throwing for over 5,200 yards.

The Bucs and the Packers seem like a lock to meet in the NFC Championship Game once again.

1. Green Bay Packers (10-3) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +700

The Packers are still the most well-balanced team in the NFL and have a three-time MVP under center in Aaron Rodgers. The only real concern is the special teams, but they should have that fixed by the time the playoffs roll around.
