We are officially in the final month of the season, and the playoff picture is becoming a bit clearer in both conferences. However, Week 15 should really help to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

After 14 weeks, the New England Patriots lead the AFC and are on pace to be the No. 1 seed once again. They’ll face the Colts in Week 15 after their bye week in what will be a very competitive and meaningful game for both teams.
The Colts run the ball better than any other team in the NFL, but they could be in for a difficult day as the Patriots will likely load up to stop Jonathan Taylor. If the Colts can’t beat the Patriots through the air, they’ll have no chance. Considering all of the time Bill Belichick has had to prepare for this game, look for him and his team to get the road win in Indianapolis.

It’s really hard to believe that the Patriots are 9-4 and somehow still underdogs in this Week 15 matchup. The defense is by far the best in the NFL and their offense can win in a variety of ways. Expect the Patriots to win and certainly to cover here in Week 15.

Atlanta Falcons vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction
It’s hard to believe, but the Falcons are in playoff contention in the NFC. In fact, if they get a win over the 49ers in Week 15, they’ll replace them in the current playoff picture as the No. 6 seed in the conference.
However, these are two teams trending in opposite directions despite Atlanta’s win over Carolina in Week 14. The 49ers have the look of a real darkhorse Super Bowl candidate in the NFC as George Kittle is playing the best football of his career. Look for the 49ers to take care of business and dominate the Falcons in San Francisco.

Falcons vs 49ers Best Bet: 49ers -8.5 (-108) on TwinSpires

The 49ers are just the better team here. It’s really that simple. They should be able to run the ball at will against the Falcons and with Kittle and Deebo Samuel in the passing game, it’s tough to see how the Falcons will slow them down. This game has all the makings of a double-digit win by San Francisco and could easily be a blowout in favor of the 49ers.

Yes, the Falcons are 6-7, but they have the No. 26 ranked offense in the NFL. There have been six games this season when they have been held to 17 or fewer points. This feels like another one of those games as the Falcons don’t have the offensive line to block Nick Bosa and the pass rush of the 49ers. Take the Under here and expect the Falcons to struggle on offense here in Week 15.
Tennessee Titans vs Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction
The Steelers are coming off a tough road loss to the Minnesota Vikings and will now face the 9-4 Titans. However, this is a good matchup for the Steelers as they will be home and are coming off 10 days’ rest.
Meanwhile, the offense for the Titans has really struggled lately, scoring a combined 46 points over the last three games. With their spot in the playoffs essentially wrapped up, don’t be surprised if they come out a bit flat in this game.
Pittsburgh needs a win more and Mike Tomlin usually fares well as a home underdog. Look for the Steelers to win outright in Week 15.

Titans vs Steelers Best Bet: Steelers +2 (-113) on TwinSpires

It’s hard to believe, but Ryan Tannehill and the Titans are two-point road favorites in this game. Without Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown, this offense just isn’t all that dynamic or consistent. Pittsburgh should be able to score enough to win this game, and they have the second-best kicker in the NFL in Chris Boswell. This game likely comes down to the final possession, but expect the Steelers to win and cover at home.
Titans vs Steelers Best Bet: Over 41.5 (-113) on TwinSpires

Pittsburgh’s offense certainly isn’t good, but they have gone over 20 points in three of their last four games. They should be able to throw against the pass defense of the Titans, which is down several key defensive backs. Don’t expect the Steelers (or Titans) to light up the scoreboard, but for both teams to score into the low-to-mid 20s.
