Tyler Boyd Super Bowl Props 2022 | Boyd Prop Bets vs Rams

Last Updated: Feb 11, 2022

The Cincinnati Bengals weren’t even favored to win their own division at the start of the season, let alone the AFC. Now, they find themselves in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989 — nearly eight full years before quarterback Joe Burrow was born.

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd played a key role in Cincinnati’s breakout during the regular season, topping 800 receiving yards for the fourth year in a row. He’s gone quiet during the playoffs, however, managing just 62 receiving yards over the first three postseason rounds combined.

Will Boyd wake up in time for the Super Bowl? Let’s dive in to explore which prop bets you should target for the veteran wideout in Super Bowl 56 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Please note that all Super Bowl 56 odds are current as of 4 p.m. ET on Friday, February 11.

Boyd’s production has been volatile all season as Cincinnati’s No. 3 receiver behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Chase’s emergence in particular caused Boyd’s target share to diminish considerably, as he finished the regular season with fewer than 100 targets and 70 catches for the first time in his four full seasons.

With Chase commanding much of Burrow’s attention, there haven’t been many looks leftover for Boyd, who’s averaging only a handful of catches per game while operating primarily out of the slot. As a result, Boyd has fallen short of 40 receiving yards in each of his last four games.

Expect that trend to continue against a tough Rams defense, making the Under our NFL bet of the day.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+190) at BetMGM

Wager: 0.5 Units

While Boyd hasn’t gotten much volume during the playoffs, he did catch a touchdown during the Wild Card Round and has four TDs in his last six games.

In a potentially high-scoring game that will likely feature multiple passing touchdowns on both sides, Boyd is a solid bet to find the end zone again. He may also see an extra red zone target or two if tight end C.J. Uzomah (knee) is out or limited.
