The Los Angeles Rams are returning to the Super Bowl for the second time in four seasons, and their defense is a big reason why. With top-tier players including Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and Von Miller lining up on that side of the ball, the Rams have a terrifying unit.
Los Angeles has brought it on defense so far this postseason, limiting opponents to 18.3 points per game and generating five takeaways in three games thus far. While they did allow 27 points to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, that was largely because the offense committed four turnovers.
Now, LA will take on a young, confident Bengals team with a potent offense. Will the Rams’ defense be up to the task once more?
Let’s take a look at our best Rams defense props for Super Bowl 56.

That could pose an issue against an opportunistic Rams defense that ranked third in interceptions during the regular season. Their secondary has been great, and opposing quarterbacks are frequently under pressure with Donald wreaking havoc at the line.
While Burrow typically doesn’t panic under pressure, LA’s aggressive defense is going to get to him. He’s eventually going to force a throw or have a pass batted that results in an interception.
Aaron Donald to Win Super Bowl MVP (+1500) at Caesars
Wager: 0.5 Units
If any defensive player is going to win Super Bowl MVP this year, it’ll likely be Donald. The All-Pro defensive tackle has been impressive so far this postseason, but he’ll truly have a chance to shine against the Bengals.
Burrow was the most-sacked quarterback in football during the regular season, going down 51 times. That trend has continued in the postseason, and he’s now been sacked at least three times in 12 different games.

After allowing Burrow to get sacked 12 more times in three playoff games, Cincinnati’s offensive line is clearly an issue. They’ve yet to face a player of Donald’s caliber, either, which could spell trouble for Burrow in this game.
If Donald can consistently disrupt the pocket or force a turnover, he may walk away with MVP honors if LA prevails. At (+1800) odds, it’s worth taking a chance on Donald for our NFL bet of the day.
Rams OVER 3.0 Sacks (-165) at Caesars
Wager: 1.5 Units
The Rams have picked up just five total sacks in the playoffs, but it’s not like they haven’t been putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They also haven’t seen an offensive line as bad as Cincinnati’s yet.
The Bengals gave up nine sacks to the Titans earlier in the postseason, and while Cincinnati did still manage to win the game, the Rams are better-equipped to take advantage of such a feat.
This prop does require a lot of juice, and I’m not crazy about the number. I’ll still bank on the Rams to get it done, though, because they have a significant matchup advantage here.
