After earning the No. 1 seed in the NFC this season, the Green Bay Packers will host the San Francisco 49ers in Saturday’s NFC Divisional matchup.
While much of the credit for Green Bay’s success goes to the other Aaron (Rodgers), Aaron Jones has been one of the key cogs in the Packers’ offense for several years now. Between his rushing prowess and pass-catching ability, he’s usually heavily involved in Green Bay’s game plan.

While Jones ceded much of his rushing work to AJ Dillon this season, he still averaged a solid 53.3 rushing yards per game. Jones also hit this prop nine times in 15 games this season, including Week 3 when he rushed for 82 yards on 19 attempts against the 49ers.
That proved to be his high-water mark this season in terms of carries, but Jones has proven that he doesn’t need much volume to rack up yards on the ground. Over his final three regular-season games, for example, he posted 200 rushing yards on just 33 attempts, averaging 66.7 rushing yards and 11 carries per game.
Given his efficiency, Jones just needs around 10-12 carries to hit the Over here, which is certainly doable for one of the NFL’s better running backs.

Even if Jones falls short of his rushing prop, he can still make it up to us on his total yardage prop.
While Jones was less active in Green Bay’s running attack this season, he still amassed 1,190 yards from scrimmage thanks to his heavy involvement in the passing game. That works out to 79.3 total yards per game, which includes his 96-yard performance against San Francisco during Week 3.

Jones registered multiple receptions in all but two of his 15 games this year, which helped him exceed this prop nine times. Jones is also capable of hitting this prop purely on the ground, which he did twice this season while finishing with 76 rushing yards two other times.
Between his usage in the run game and passing game, Jones should see 15-20 touches and do enough to hit the Over here.

Jones is a touchdown machine, notching double-digit TDs in each of the last three seasons. His 10 TDs ranked second on the team this year behind only Davante Adams (11).
While Jones can score on the ground, he’s also gotten better at scoring through the air. Jones hauled in a career-high six TD receptions this season, matching his total from the three previous years combined.
That kind of versatility makes it difficult to keep Jones out of the end zone, which makes this prop our NFL bet of the day.
