Spurs vs Knicks Predictions: Expect New York to Respond in NBA Finals Game 4

Last Updated: 19 hours ago

After emerging from Madison Square Garden with a 115-111 Game 3 victory, the San Antonio Spurs will look to even the 2026 NBA Finals at two games apiece when they return to the World’s Most Famous Arena to face the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. Tip-off for Game 4 is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Victor Wembanyama led the way for San Antonio in Game 3, registering 32 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. The Spurs also received significant contributions from second-year guard Stephon Castle, who scored 23 points, including a clutch three-pointer and vital free throws late in the fourth quarter.

Can the Spurs capture another road win on Wednesday night to even the series before it shifts back to San Antonio? Or will the Knicks take a commanding 3-1 series lead and move within a game of a first NBA title since 1973?

As we prepare for this pivotal matchup, let’s dive into the latest NBA odds and my Spurs vs Knicks predictions for Game 4.

Spurs vs Knicks Game 4 Predictions

Score Prediction: Knicks 118, Spurs 113

I expect a better effort from the Knicks on Wednesday night as they look to bounce back from their first defeat since April 23, which snapped a 13-game winning streak.

New York got minimal contributions from Karl-Anthony Towns (11 points) and Mikal Bridges (2 points) in Game 3, who had both played key roles in the team’s success in San Antonio.

Despite scoring a team-high 32 points on 11-of-25 shooting, Jalen Brunson still has room to improve, as he recorded as many turnovers as assists (5) for the second time in this series.

Much of that has been a product of the physicality from the Spurs’ guards, who have done well to make the New York star’s life difficult. Though it’ll be interesting to see if Brunson and the Knicks get a kinder whistle after head coach Mike Brown called out the referees after Game 3, where San Antonio had a 24-8 second-half advantage in free-throw attempts.

Regardless, I’m expecting a more comprehensive performance from New York, which turned the ball over 13 times in Game 3, leading to 21 points for San Antonio.

Spurs vs Knicks Game 4 Best Bets

Knicks ML (-135) vs Spurs

San Antonio was good value for its Game 3 victory, leading for 78% of the contest. New York made a run at the end of the first half to take the lead and tried to replicate that late in the fourth quarter, but the young Spurs held their nerve.

I’m expecting New York’s depth to show through on Wednesday night, as Mike Brown has been much more willing to use his bench than Mitch Johnson.

San Antonio is essentially down to a six-man rotation, which could be a problem with just one day off between games or if the Spurs are refereed more tightly on defense.

The road team has won every game of the series so far, but I’m backing the Knicks to end that trend on Wednesday night at MSG as one of my NBA best bets today.

Knicks @ Spurs: Over 216.5 Points (-115)

Games 1 and 2 stayed under this total, but Game 3 cleared it by nearly a 10-point margin.

San Antonio’s road games this postseason have tended to be higher scoring than their home games, so I’m backing the over to hit again in Game 4.

I think Brunson and the Knicks could get to the free-throw line with a little more regularity on Wednesday night, which would go a long way in helping us clear this number.
