2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 16: Top Pickups
Ayo Dosunmu, PG, Chicago Bulls (52% Rostered)
With Lonzo Ball (knee) and Alex Caruso (wrist) out for the foreseeable future, Ayo Dosunmu will remain a staple of the Bulls’ backcourt. This is not only by default, either — Dosunmu has played his way into a significant role with a massive uptick in production since he became a starter on January 15.
Since then, Dosunmu is averaging 37.6 minutes, 12.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.4 threes while shooting 55.6% from the field and 84.6% from free-throw.

This astronomical efficiency will dwindle sooner than later, but his usage is sky-high as Chicago’s starting point guard. He should be rostered everywhere until both Caruso and Ball return.
- Ayo Dosunmu Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 20-25%
Bismack Biyombo, C, Phoenix Suns (55% Rostered)
Bismack Biyombo is basically replicating DeAndre Ayton‘s production since taking on a larger role in Phoenix.
Biyombo has played at least 22 minutes in each of the last 7 games and is averaging 14.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, and 0.7 steals while shooting 64.5% from the field. His 54.3% free-throw percentage is abysmal, though that can be overlooked given his monster counting stats.
Biyombo has an expiration date once Ayton (ankle) returns, but his return is unknown for now due to the potential severity of his injury. Recent reports stated he was day-to-day despite not participating in any on-court work in weeks.
Biyombo should remain rostered until then.
- Bismack Biyombo Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 5-8%
2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 16: Best Players To Stash
Willy Hernangomez, C, New Orleans Pelicans (39% Rostered)
Willy Hernangomez is such a fun fantasy player, but his usage is too sporadic to rely on. Essentially, you cannot roster him unless the starting center is out, which has been the case over the past few games for New Orleans.
In this three-game span, Hernangomez is averaging 30.9 minutes, 20.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 53.8% from the field and 85.7% from the stripe.
Jonas Valanciunas is set to return soon, which is unfortunate but expected. Hernangomez can take advantage of Jaxson Hayes‘ absence which is meager at best. With the trade deadline approaching, there is upside to holding him for the next week.
- Willy Hernangomez Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 5-8%
Cam Reddish, SG/SF, New York Knicks (17% Rostered)
Cam Reddish is currently out of the Knicks’ rotation, but that’s due to them not wanting to tank the trade value of any of rotation players like Alec Burks and Evan Fournier.
The Knicks traded a first for Reddish, so he will be utilized sooner than later and is likely fully healthy from the ankle issue that nagged him in Atlanta.
Reddish doesn’t do too much, but could have some upside eventually. For now, points, steals, rebounds, and FT% help is all there is.
- Cam Reddish Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 1-5%
2022 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Week 16: One-Week Streamer Play
Isaiah Jackson, PF, Indiana Pacers (18% Rostered)
Isaiah Jackson is the last big left in Indiana. Domantas Sabonis (COVID), Myles Turner (foot), and even Goga Bitadze (foot) are out of commission and likely won’t be available all week.
Jackson performed very well in the starting role Monday and has three more games this week. Grab him as soon as you can.
- Isaiah Jackson Waiver Wire FAAB Bid: 1-5%
