The opening weekend of the 2022 NFL Playoffs is almost here.
Wild Card Weekend is always one of the best times on the NFL calendar and this year we get what the NFL has labeled Super Wild Card Weekend, which lasts three days and wraps up with a playoff showcase on Monday Night Football.
With six games in total to feast on, Wild Card Weekend should be an epic one for fans and bettors alike.
Whether you’re interested in betting on spreads, player props, or totals, there’s nothing like the excitement of betting on the NFL Playoffs.
However, the true highlight of Wild Card Weekend is the promotions that sportsbooks offer leading up to all the games.
Lucrative sign-up bonuses and offers that seem too good to be true are always available if you know where to look, and they can help a rookie bettor get on their feet or a seasoned one pocket some extra coin.
If you’re looking for a place to wager on Wild Card Weekend, consider Betfred Sportsbook. Betfred has an outstanding for new users that provides you with a wager match bonus of up to $500 (win or lose) on your first wager.
Read Anthony Cervino’s Betfred Sportsbook review to learn more about this exciting welcome offer, or click the “Get Bonus" button above.
With all that in mind, let’s dig into what Betfred has on offer for Wild Card Weekend.
While Betfred has yet to release any Wild Card Weekend-specific promotions just yet, you can check out their NFL odds and start placing bets in the meantime.
Here’s one Wild Card Weekend bet I’ve already got my eyes on.
The Philadelphia Eagles were predicted by many to finish last in the NFC East this year but overachieved under first-year head coach Nick Sirianni, finishing 9-8 and earning a Wild Card berth.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a lot to do with that success, despite constant questions about whether he should be the starter, Hurts delivered by throwing for over 3,000 yards with 16 touchdown passes and nine interceptions. He also ran for a team-high 784 yards and 10 more scores.
The Eagles will travel to Tampa Bay to face the No. 2 seed Buccaneers on Sunday in the Wild Card Round. The two teams met on Thursday Night Football in Week 6, with the Buccaneers emerging with a 28-22 victory in Philadelphia.
However, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers no longer have Chris Godwin or Antonio Brown at wideout and might get Leonard Fournette back at running back after a stint on the sidelines.
The Eagles’ defense could have some success here, like they’ve had in the past getting to Brady with their front four, and Hurts has enough talent in his arm and legs to keep this one close.
