Super Bowl 58 is set between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, a rematch of Super Bowl 54, where the Chiefs won handily 31-20.

Both the 49ers and Chiefs have lost two Super Bowls in their histories, although Kansas City is seeking to win back-to-back titles and their third in five years.

San Francisco hasn’t won it all since Super Bowl 29, and this upcoming SB appearance will be their eighth (second-most).

One big reason the 49ers have had such a great season is none other than their superstar running back, Christian McCaffrey. The former Stanford stud rusher led the league in regular-season rushing yards (1,459) by nearly 300 yards to the next RB (1,167, Derrick Henry) and first downs.

McCaffrey suffered a stinger after an awkward fall on his neck/shoulder, but he’s expected to be 100% healthy for the Big Game. If the 49ers win, it’ll be a big boost to his Hall of Fame resume.

Let’s take a look at some Christian McCaffrey Super Bowl prop bets to place now.

Christian McCaffrey: Alt Over 73.5 Rushing Yards

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 2 Units

McCaffrey has over 73.5 rushing yards in nine of his last 10 games. He also averages over 17 carries per game, so to hit this Over, he just needs to average 4.3 yards per carry, a full yard less than his season average.

This leg would be a great fit in a low-stakes parlay to pad your overall odds. McCaffrey is averaging 94 rushing yards per game this postseason and has four touchdowns.

To their credit, the Chiefs have done a good job limiting running backs this postseason despite having the 27th run defense DVOA. Raheem Mostert rushed for 33, James Cook collected 61, and Gus Edwards flickered for 20.

There’s no denying McCaffrey is at the center of the 49ers’ offensive gameplan, and if Brock Purdy starts this game with choppy play, it would be no surprise to see this star running back being fed the ball to give the team some stability.

Christian McCaffrey: 2+ Touchdowns

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.75 Units

With a total of 25 touchdowns between the playoffs and the regular season, McCaffrey set a team record for most touchdowns, including the playoffs (Jerry Rice, 23, 1987). Taking McCaffrey as an anytime, first, or last TD scorer has essentially been a betting cheat code this year.

Considering McCaffrey rushed 20 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions and their league-best run defense DVOA, I expect the 49ers to muscle the ball between the tackles behind Trent Williams.

CMC only has three games this year without a touchdown, 15 games with one or more scores (83.3%), and seven games with two or more (38.9%). You may recall he had a much ballyhooed 17-game scoring streak that was ended back in Week 9.

If you bet $10 every week on McCaffrey’s anytime (-205) and 2+ TD props (+235) at these odds, you’d have $43.20 profit on the anytime bets and $54.50 on the 2+ TD bets. Nuff said.
