Best Brock Purdy Prop Bets To Make For Super Bowl 58

The Super Bowl is often boiled down to a battle of quarterbacks, and Super Bowl 58 could be a great one.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have two-time MVP, and two-time Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes, and the 49ers will go with Brock Purdy, who was the last pick of his draft year in 2022.

Brock Purdy has a great season and is a significant reason why the 49ers are back in the Super Bowl for the second time in five seasons.

Here’s a look at some Brock Purdy prop bets you should consider for Super Bowl 58.

All Super Bowl 58 odds used in these props are current as of Feb. 8.

Best Brock Purdy Prop Bets For Super Bowl 58

Brock Purdy Over 248.5 Passing Yards

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

The Chiefs’ pass defense may be the best unit the Niners have faced in the playoffs, but Purdy and San Francisco have been rolling in the passing game.

Purdy has thrown for 250-plus yards in three of his past four games and 12 of San Francisco’s 19 games this season. What’s remarkable is the Niners are 9-3 in games where Purdy surpasses 250 passing yards, which means he’s not just gobbling up garbage-time yards in losses.

Purdy should have ample time to throw with his left tackle Trent Williams getting a much-needed break to ail his aching body. He also will have healthy receivers since Deebo Samuel got an extra week to heal up.

If you are among those that thing the Chiefs will win, the Purdy passing-yards prop is a must bet since San Francisco will undoubtedly get into a pass-heavy game script if it falls behind.

Either way, 250-plus yards seems like a safe number for a Brock Purdy prop bet.

Brock Purdy Over 1.5 Passing TDs

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Brock Purdy hasn’t thrown for multiple TDs this postseason, which is a consequence of Christian McCaffrey’s dominance near the goal line. San Francisco may want to attack the porous Chiefs run defense, which has allowed about 113 yards against all season.

But the Chiefs will also be loading the box up to stop McCaffrey, in an effort to make Purdy beat them. That should leave opportunities in the intermediate passing game where receivers like Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, or tight end George Kittle, to have huge run-after-catch plays.

The Chiefs defense has given up just three passing scores in the playoffs but certainly should have allowed more in the AFC Championship Game against the Ravens. Baltimore turned the ball over twice in the end zone, including Zay Flowers’ fumble.

The 49ers offense may not be the most dynamic the Chiefs defense will face. But unlike in the AFC playoffs, the weather conditions will be perfect and San Francisco’s offense is still loaded with skill-position players and may be the most balanced offense KC will encounter.

Brock Purdy Win Super Bowl 58 MVP

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1.5 Units

Quarterbacks have won Super Bowl MVP 32 times in 57 previous games, and although McCaffrey is a superb option, Purdy has the shortest odds of any 49ers player.

Given the potential for Purdy to play an exceptional game, and the fact media members will default to voting the QB as the MVP when in doubt.

A small sprinkling on both Purdy and McCaffrey to win MVP is worth it if you think the Niners are going to win.
