Best Brandon Aiyuk Super Bowl Prop Bets To Make Now

Brandon Aiyuk had a fine regular season, catching 75 passes for 1,342 yards, which ranked seventh in the NFL. But he has been quieter in the playoffs, with six receptions for 100 yards.

Still, Aiyuk is a formidable weapon in a deep San Francisco passing game, and functions as the 49ers’ best big-play threat.

Even against a stout Kansas City pass defense, Aiyuk will be a key performer for the Niners as they attempt to win Super Bowl 58.

All Super Bowl 58 odds used in these props are current as of 2/5.

Best Brandon Aiyuk Receiving Prop Bets For Super Bowl 58

Brandon Aiyuk Receiving Yards Prop

Over 63.5 Receiving Yards

The Chiefs’ pass defense will be the best unit that the 49ers have faced in the playoffs this season.

But this is still a number that Aiyuk can get past, because Kansas City showed some vulnerability in the AFC Championship Game despite limiting the Baltimore offense for most of the game.

During the regular season, the Chiefs ranked fourth in receiving yards allowed to wide receivers.

But Zay Flowers was able to roll up 115 receiving yards against Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game, and Aiyuk is San Francisco’s best downfield threat.

He averaged 17.9 yards per catch during the regular season, and he had a 51-yard reception in the NFC Championship Game.

It will only take one big play for Aiyuk to get a boost to moving past the projected receiving yardage total.

But the 49ers can also pepper the Chiefs underneath, something Baltimore could not do effectively, and Aiyuk can get to the desired yardage number through volume, too.

Prior to a meaningless regular season finale, Aiyuk sailed past the projected yardage total in three of his four previous outings.

Pro Football Focus also ranks him as having the best WR/CB matchup of any WR in the game vs an opposing secondary, as his grade of 72.5 qualifies as “Good” and reflects that he should produce adequately.

Brandon Aiyuk Receptions Prop

Over 4.5 Receptions

As I have already noted, I forecast that Brock Purdy will attempt to keep the ball moving by attacking underneath, and also on some shorter and flat routes.

The 49ers have the required personnel to operate in a high percentage passing mode, whereas Baltimore did not.

The Chiefs have allowed at least one WR to finish past the projected reception total for Aiyuk here in every AFC playoff game. During the regular season, Aiyuk had four-plus receptions in 11 of 15 games prior to a meaningless finale.

In the 49ers’ two playoff games so far, Aiyuk has finished with three receptions in each outing, but he was targeted a total of 14 times.

I believe the game plan to challenge Kansas City with many shorter throws will translate into healthy reception numbers for Aiyuk.

Brandon Aiyuk 1st Reception Prop

Under 14.5 Receiving Yards On 1st Reception

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1.5 Units

Since I have outlined a high percentage passing attack to best combat the Kansas City pass defense, I don’t see Aiyuk busting loose early for a big gainer.

The Chiefs’ defense is highly disciplined and Purdy may have to get in a rhythm first before potentially hitting on a bigger play.

In his two playoff games so far this season, Aiyuk’s first receptions of the game have been for 10 and 11 yards, against the Packers and Lions, respectively.

Neither of those teams’ pass defenses can rival Kansas City’s.
