NFL Week 1 is always a chaotic mesh of noteworthy information and outlier occurrences that will influence rest-of-season oddsmaking and betting in general. Soft lines can serve as fruitful opportunities for sharp betting.
One of the emerging formats in NFL betting is same-game parlays, where NFL bettors can take multiple bets from a game and parlay them into a single bet. This can include point totals, spreads, or NFL player Over/Under prop bets.
For example, you could choose to wager on the spread for the Jets, the Under for the game, and for Mac Jones or Zach Wilson to throw for a certain amount of yards.

Patriots vs Jets Same Game Parlay Best Bet (+1200) at Caesars
Best Bet: Patriots -6 (-110)
A Bill Belichick defense is typically death to rookie quarterbacks. Per NFL writer Jim Corbett, the Hooded One boasts a 21-6 record against first-year QBs as a Patriot, and New England has not lost two straight games to open the season since 2001.

The Jets’ loss of one of their best players, LT Mekhi Becton, for up to two months due to knee surgery further jeopardizes rookie Zach Wilson‘s big test against one of the best in-game tacticians in NFL history.
Best Bet: Mac Jones Over 1.5 TD Passes (-110) at Caesars
Even if the Pats wind up blowing out New York, Jones has upgraded the Patriots’ aerial potential over last year’s starter Cam Newton.
The Alabama rookie is a much better downfield passer, and New England upgraded its receiving corps to include weapons like Jonnu Smith, Hunter Henry and Nelson Agholor to go along with RB (and arguably WR1) James White, plus one other receiver I’ll mention in a minute.
Much of RB Christian McCaffrey’s damage against the Jets came through the air, and we can expect a similar path for the wide-ranging group of possible Jones pass-catchers to help him find the end zone at least twice.
Best Bet: Jakobi Meyers Over 4.5 Receptions (+115) at Caesars
Jones fed Meyers nine targets in their first regular-season game together. The wideout also played on 74 of 75 snaps and served as a safety net, while averaging just 4.9 yards per target.

As previously noted, the Jets yielded much of their receiving work to McCaffrey on dump-offs and short routes. While that’s often James White‘s territory, Meyers will benefit from these looks in non-obvious passing downs.
Meyers’ potentially permanent spot as Jones’ first read against a weak secondary like the Jets’ leaves an edge open here for your NFL bets for Patriots-Jets.
Also, if TE Jonnu Smith (hip) is limited or inactive, that will open up more short-range work for Meyers.

Best Bet: Zach Wilson Over 14.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
With Becton sidelined, Wilson likely will be scrambling often to try to create plays to counter pass-rusher penetration.

Also, New York’s tepid backfield already has little stability in the group that includes Tevin Coleman, Ty Johnson, and Michael Carter. Wilson might be assigned plenty of designed runs to evade Belichick’s tough defense.
