Week 5 features another NFC West showdown, as the undefeated Arizona Cardinals will put their perfect record on the line against the San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 p.m. ET this Sunday.
Arizona took down the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Week 4, going into SoFi Stadium and exiting with a 37-20 victory. The 49ers, on the other hand, lost 28-21 to the Seattle Seahawks.

49ers vs Cardinals Prop Bets: NFL Week 5 Prop Betting Picks
Kyler Murray Over 284.5 Passing Yards (-115) at BetMGM
This may seem like an odd one since the 49ers boast one of the best pass defenses in football, but Kyler Murray is a special player.
He’s only been below 284 yards passing once this season, which came last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Granted, the Rams have a very strong secondary, but Murray still threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns in that contest.
While betting on the Over for Murray is risky, I still like it quite a bit. San Francisco’s defense has already given up over 300 yards passing to Jared Goff, and although that came in Week 1 and was followed by the Niners holding Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers below 284 yards in back-to-back weeks, those games were at home.
The 49ers will have to travel to Arizona for this matchup, and even though Murray has only played at home in one game this season, he made sure it counted, throwing for 400 yards and three touchdowns against Mike Zimmer’s Vikings in Week 2.
With how pass-happy Arizona is, look for Murray to make plenty of splash plays through the air to hit the Over, making this our NFL bet of the day.
Christian Kirk Over 3.5 Receptions (-105) at BetMGM
With DeAndre Hopkins likely getting the calvary thrown at him, this is a perfect week for Christian Kirk to come back alive.
Kirk had a bit of a down game against the Rams, finishing with just one catch for 5 yards, but he’s had 5 or more catches with 70 or more yards in two of the Cardinals’ other three games. He’s the third-most targeted receiver on the team behind Hopkins and A.J. Green.
Kirk’s also a great route runner, and with how quiet he was against Los Angeles, I have to think head coach Kliff Kingsbury is coming up with multiple ways to get him going again. One bad game shouldn’t change the perception of an otherwise productive player this season.

Matt Prater Over 3.5 Extra Points Made (+150) at BetMGM
Yes, kickers get love too.
Arizona has scored over 30 points in every game thus far (more on that below) which makes this perhaps the easiest prop bet of the game. Moreover, Prater has yet to miss an extra point this season (17-17).
The Cardinals have the top-ranked total offense in the league as they average nearly 441 yards and 35 points per game. As for when they get down to the red zone, Arizona scores a touchdown 72.2% of the time, and that isn’t likely won’t change on Sunday.
Get ready for Prater to get a good day’s work in.

49ers vs Cardinals Week 5 Prop Bets
Both Teams to Score 20+ Points (-125) at BetMGM
I know I’ve talked Arizona’s offense up a lot with these picks, but this 49ers team is still plenty capable of scoring points on their own, which is reflected in the NFL gameday odds. In fact, besides their 17-11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, they’ve scored 21 or more points in each game this season.
San Francisco has plenty of weapons on that side of the ball (Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Trey Sermon), and it speaks volumes that they’ve been doing it without George Kittle scoring this season.
Arizona hasn’t been held below 20 points yet through four games, so they’re pretty much a lock to hold up their end of the bargain. On the other hand, the Cardinals are also giving up an average of 21 points per game, so I feel that this matchup has the makings of a mini shootout.
