2021 World Series Game 6 Prop Bets
Martin Maldonado: Over 0.5 Hits (+100) at BetMGM
This is an off-the-wall selection for a player prop, given that Martin Maldonado is not the biggest name in the series, but the veteran catcher has been clutch for Houston.
Maldonado has had a hit in three of the last four games of the World Series and has put together competitive at-bats throughout the series. He’s not an objectively great hitter by any means, as he has a career 73 wRC+, but sometimes riding the hot bat is the play with these player props.
Back the catcher to have at least one hit in Game 6 with all the value on favorable odds.

Max Fried: Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+130) at BetMGM
Max Fried has not looked like himself recently, but I’m expecting the talented lefty to bounce back in Game 6. After a season of an excellent 3.07 ERA, Fried has allowed eleven earned runs across 9 and 2/3 innings in his last two starts combined.
Fried’s known as a control pitcher for the most part, and that element of his game has evaded him recently. I don’t expect this to continue.
Fried is simply too talented to string together three poor performances in a row, in my opinion. I’m backing him at plus odds to rack up at least five strikeouts as I expect him to have a vintage Max Fried game where he goes deep and helps deliver the Braves their first World Series since 1995.

Jose Altuve: Over 0.5 RBIs (+195) at BetMGM
The odds on this prop look like they have tons of value. At +195 odds, Jose Altuve to get an RBI is an easy player prop bet for me. Altuve has driven in a run in two of his last four games in the World Series and is on a solid 5-for-18 stretch with three extra-base hits during that span.
Altuve always comes up big for the Astros it seems, and Game 6 won’t be different. Especially when considering the favorable odds being laid on this prop, I’m backing the star second baseman to drive in at least one run in this game.
