The Braves and Astros have given us quite the series so far and as the series heads back to Houston, I’m expecting more fireworks. The Braves will turn to their struggling ace Max Fried opposite Astros’ right-hander Luis Garcia, who has impressed in his last two outings after having some struggles of his own.

Braves Moneyline (-115) at DraftKings
I expect the Braves to lock up a World Series title in Game 6 behind their ace Max Fried tonight. Despite losing Game 5, the Braves still carry a healthy dose of momentum going into a Game 6 in Houston.
Fried has been battered by the Astros’ lineup already in this series, but I’m not expecting this to continue. A lot of Fried’s issues are linked directly to his command issues which are very uncharacteristic of him. The Astros are a great hitting team and they punish any and all mistakes. Fried is more than capable of limiting those when it matters most.
Over 8.5 Total Runs (-130) at DraftKings
This series has been full of action so far and I’m taking the alternate run total on DraftKings to help ensure that the Over hits. While only two of the five games in this series have gone Over 8.5 total runs, I think this game has some serious potential as a shootout, given the stakes.

Jose Altuve to Get a Hit (-200) at DraftKings
Jose Altuve is one of the best pure hitters in either clubhouse in the World Series. He’s currently in the midst of a 5-for-18 stretch and I’m expecting him to come up big with at least one hit in an elimination game.
Back the veteran second baseman to at least hit a single against a Braves pitching staff that has looked vulnerable at times.
Max Fried to Get 3+ Strikeouts (-150) at DraftKings
Max Fried may not go extremely deep in this game and this 3+ strikeouts parlay selection hints at that. While I do have a feeling he pitches well and longer than expected, backing him to rack up just three strikeouts is the safer parlay play.
As previously mentioned, the left-hander has not looked like his dominant self recently, dating back to the NLCS. However, the talent is undeniable and in a clinching game, I believe he brings it home for Atlanta.
World Series Game 6 Parlay Best Bet (+500) at DraftKings
At +500 odds, this MLB bet of the day has terrific value. In addition to backing the team with the momentum, we’re also getting some solid value on the Over in an alternate format, betting on one of the most clutch hitters in MLB history and backing an ace to find himself.
