Braves vs Dodgers Props: Best Baseball Props Today NLCS Game 5
Max Fried Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+105) at BetMGM
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ lineup has been struggling mightily during this series and Max Fried is turning into a bona fide ace before our eyes. He already limited LA to two runs with five strikeouts over six innings in Game 1. Simply put, I do not believe in the Dodgers figuring out Fried in Game 5, making this our MLB bet of the day.
Los Angeles will also be without Justin Turner, who suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain in Game 4. With the Dodgers losing lineup depth and so many of their hitters struggling at the moment, Fried should be able to notch at least five punchouts again, especially if he gets a longer leash with the Braves up 3-1 in the series.

Albert Pujols Over 0.5 Hits (-145) at BetMGM
While Albert Pujols is well past his prime, he still excels in one department — hitting left-handed pitching. Pujols slashed .294/.336/.603 with 13 home runs in 136 at-bats against southpaws this year and is expected to replace Turner in LA’s starting lineup for Game 5.
While Pujols has been mostly relegated to pinch-hitting duties in the playoffs, he does have three hits in 11 postseason at-bats. He’s still an elite lefty-masher at this stage of his career and is capable of getting another hit tonight after notching one in Game 4.

Trea Turner Under 1.5 Total Bases (-140) at BetMGM
It’s difficult to bet the Under on a player as good as Trea Turner in any department, but he’s been terrible lately. He’s batting just .182 this postseason and has historically struggled in October, hitting .203/.247/.275 over his last 32 postseason games.
With Turner managing only two extra-base hits in these playoffs thus far, I’m taking the Under here. Despite his success against lefties during the regular season, he’s struggling against everyone right now.
The speedy middle infielder has a paltry .227 slugging percentage this postseason, which is another way of saying that he is averaging just 1.135 total bases per five at-bats. That’s not ideal for the Dodgers, but it certainly is for this prop.
