CFB Parlays Week 2

Last Updated: Sep 7, 2023

Week 1 of the NCAAF season is in the books. We lost all three cards but ended with 1.2% CLV, so at least we know we were on the right side of the numbers we wagered.

Week 2 provides us with a full slate of games with some possible upsets that we hope to take advantage of on Saturday.

I have three parlay options for you to consider. Each card is wagered differently based on the odds available and the likelihood of the parlay landing.

Phil Naessens TGD CFB Parlay Picks Record: 1-4, 1.1% CLV

Best CFB Parlay This Week

Our Week 1 best CFB parlay failed to land, but we did get 1.2% CLV.

Saturday’s best CFB parlay will feature a two-leg moneyline parlay. I wanted to play these individually, but the juice was too high.

We’ll combine the two bets into a two-leg parlay and will bet our normal $100 unit on this week’s best CFB parlay card.

CFB Week 2 Parlay (+108)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

  • Notre Dame ML (-298) @ NC State
  • Oklahoma State ML (-175) @ Arizona State

CFB Week 2 Best Parlay

We’ve constructed our best CFB parlay much differently than we have over the past two weeks. Both legs are moneyline plays of games that would be terrific individual plays if the juice weren’t too high.

Notre Dame (-298) @ NC State

Notre Dame (2-0) should get enough defensive stops to allow QB Sam Hartman and the offense — which is averaging over 500 yards and 49 points per game — to outscore what seems to be a relatively stout Wolfpack defense.

Oklahoma State (-175) @ Arizona State

Oklahoma State (1-0) deployed three QBs in their 27-13 home win against Central Arkansas, and they combined for 304 yards with a TD and one interception. Look for the trio to continue their aerial assault on a shaky ASU passing defense and win this game in a shootout in Tempe on Saturday night.

CFB Week 2 Long Shot Parlay Bet

We missed our CFB Week 1 longshot play last week and instead won the CLV trophy (0.2%). This week, we have a pair of moneyline underdogs I really like, and maybe we can take down this CFB Week 2 long shot parlay bet.

I’ll play both games individually with one unit per wager for this parlay card. We’ll risk 0.50 units or $50 on this CFB Week 2 longshot parlay.

CFB Week 2 Parlay (+379)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 Units

  • Nebraska ML (+142) @ Colorado
  • Northwestern ML (-102) vs UTEP

CFB Week 2 Long Shot Parlay

Nebraska ML (+142) @ Colorado

Per the NCAAF odds, Nebraska opened as a 7.5-point favorite and is now a 3-point underdog. Buffaloes QB Sheduer Sanders threw for 510 yards with four TDs against TCU, but the Cornhuskers defense allowed a paltry 251 yards in their 13-10 away loss to Minnesota.

Colorado stunned TCU last week but had zero tackles for loss and allowed 541 yards at 6.8 yards per play against the Horned Frogs. I’m looking for a huge letdown and a Nebraska victory.

Northwestern ML (-102) vs UTEP

Northwestern was rocked by an extremely good Rutgers defense on Sunday. The Wildcats host a UTEP side with a 1-1 record that barely defeated FCS Incarnate Word in Week 2 and suffered a 17-14 away loss to Jacksonville State.

The Northwestern defense allowed only 24 points and 285 total yards on the road in Week 1, and the Wildcats have a good opportunity to beat UTEP on Saturday.

CFB Same Game Parlay Pick

We missed our Week 1 Same Game Parlay when Ball State was blown out by Kentucky, 44-14.

In Week 2, we’ll use the Ball State-Georgia contest and hopefully land our CFB same game parlay pick. We’ll continue with our usual 0.10 units or $10 wager and hopefully add another $15 to our SGP bankroll.

CFB Week 2 SGP (+150)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.1 Units

  • Ball State Under 6.5 Points (-140)
  • Georgia -42.5 (-125)

CFB Week 2 SGP

Our first leg is Ball State scoring Under 6.5 points.

The Cardinals meet Georgia on Saturday afternoon, and they will find it difficult to score against what many preseason pundits ranked as the top defense in the country. The Cardinals scored a pair of TDs last week but likely won’t score at all this week.

Georgia should also cover the 42.5 points on Saturday. The Bulldogs have a tremendous size advantage, and their offense will steamroll Ball State just like Kentucky did in Week 1.

Ball State allowed 241 passing yards last week, and I expect Georgia QB Carson Beck to have a huge day. Meanwhile, Ball State allowed three sacks in Week 1, and they’ll have Bulldogs in their backfield throughout this game.

Georgia will cover the 42.5 and help cash this SGP.
