Texas vs Miami Game Props
Texas: Win by 6+ Points (+110) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Texas has as good of a shot to win it all as any team remaining in the field, but they’ll need to take care of business against Miami first. And when it’s all said and done, I think they do so with relative ease.
Texas has been impressive on both ends of the floor all tournament, and they seem to be comfortable with whatever an opponent throws at them. And in this game, they have too much depth and balance offensively for the Hurricanes.
Miami gets into foul trouble early against the athletes of Texas, and the Longhorns converted at the line at the best clip in the Big 12 this season.
Eventually, Texas’ defense strings together a couple of stops late for them to pull away.
Texas vs Miami Team Props
Texas: Over 76.5 Points (-120) • DraftKings Sportsbook
WAGER: 1 Unit
Texas is willing to get out and run, and that is what they should expect in this game with Miami’s guards no doubt happy to oblige and push the tempo.
The Hurricanes’ defense has had a ton of issues this season — they’ve held just two opponents below 70 since mid-February — and Texas will have no problem taking advantage.

Miami is coming off an impressive win over Houston, but their defense wasn’t overly impressive and I think the luck runs out in this one.
Texas is going to get out in transition, spread the ball around, and they’ll be able to break this 76.5-point total with relative ease behind a balanced scoring attack with all five starters capable of breaking out for 20-point performances — including one that might surprise you below.
Texas vs Miami Player Props
Timmy Allen Over 10.5 Points (-137) • Caesars Sportsbook
Timmy Allen has had a relatively quiet NCAA Tournament thus far, but with the injury to Dylan Disu, and Miami’s size deficiencies, this is shaping up to be his game to take over.
Allen is as much of a veteran as you’ll ever see in college basketball, suiting up for what will be his 154th game. And despite that, I think Miami glosses over him in the game plan as they key in on Carr, Rice, and Tyrese Hunter.
Look for Allen to get a couple of putbacks on the offensive glass, and a big basket late to swing the momentum for the Longhorns and cash his point total.
