San Diego State vs Creighton Same Game Parlays

Last Updated: Mar 25, 2023

With only one game on at once at this stage of the tournament, same game parlays will be very popular. The San Diego State Aztecs and Creighton Bluejays face off at 2:20 p.m.ET in Louisville, Kentucky with a trip to the Final Four on the line.

Not many people predicted this would be the matchup in the South Region with the top four seeds all eliminated. Whoever wins this matchup will be the first team in either program’s history to reach the Final Four.

Let’s dive into some of the best same game parlay’s to place for this matchup.

Ani Sridhar’s March Madness Betting Record: 14-11-1 (+5.04 units)

San Diego State vs Creighton Best Same Game Parlay

San Diego State vs Creighton Top SGP (+135) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

  • Creighton Alternate Spread +3.5 (-220)
  • Over 129.5 Total Points (-170)

The Bluejays are favored in this game so buying a few points in the event they lose is a safe bet to add to this parlay.

I expect this to be a one-possession game so being on the right side of the +3.5 hook is important to this bet. I cannot foresee Creighton’s offense scoring less than 70 points in this contest and the Aztecs should be able to score at least 60 so taking the over 129.5 in the parlay gets us to a plus odds bet.

The key to both of these legs hitting will be the Bluejays’ three-point shooting. If they go cold from beyond the arc, we will be sweating out both of these legs.

San Diego State vs Creighton Longshot Same Game Parlay

San Diego State vs Creighton Longshot SGP (+340) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 0.5 Units

  • San Diego State ML (+105)
  • Creighton Team Total Under 61.5 (+225)
  • Game Total Under 133.5 (-125)

If the Aztecs are going to advance to the Final Four then they will have to put on another defensive showcase.

They will have to restrict the Bluejays to under 65 points and slow down the pace of play. The Aztecs are only conceding 57.6 points per game in this tourney.

I think the Bluejays win this game in a nail biter of a finish but it wouldn’t surprise me if the Aztecs win another low-scoring game.

San Diego State is a physical and excellent rebounding side which won’t let up any easy buckets inside the paint. Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner will be tested in the paint and will need to help restrict the Aztecs from grabbing offensive rebounds.
