Monaco Grand Prix Odds & Predictions 2024

Last Updated: May 21, 2024

After winning the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix last week, Max Verstappen has set his sights on a second straight victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.

The top driver in the 2024 Formula 1 standings has triumphed in two of his last three visits to the Circuit de Monaco, one of the world’s narrowest and most challenging road courses.

And while Verstappen is a heavy favorite to win his third career Monaco GP title, several drivers will be eager to dethrone him in one of the most prestigious races of the year.

Let’s look at the latest 2024 Monaco Grand Prix odds and pick out our best bets for Sunday’s race.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Odds

F1 2024 odds to win the Monaco Grand Prix are current as of Tuesday, May 21, and courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook.

Here are the top drivers in the Monaco GP betting odds:

  • Max Verstappen (-125)
  • Charles LeClerc (+400)
  • Lando Norris (+550)
  • Oscar Piastri (+1000)
  • Sergio Perez (+1400)
  • Carlos Sainz (+1600)
  • Fernando Alonso (+6600)
  • Lewis Hamilton (+8000)
  • George Russell (+8000)

Who Will Win the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix?

Max Verstappen (-125) • Caesars Sportsbook

Verstappen is a heavy favorite to win the Monaco Grand Prix, and for good reason.

The 26-year-old has won three consecutive Formula One World Drivers’ Championship titles and is on pace for a fourth, having won five of seven races to start the 2024 season.

His recent history at Circuit de Monaco has also been outstanding. After crashing in his first two trips to the Monaco GP, Verstappen has finished on the podium each of the last three years, winning twice, and has come no worse than ninth in each race since 2017.

Verstappen is undeniably the top driver in F1 at the moment, and at relatively even odds, he’s our best F1 bet today.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix Best Bets

Lando Norris: Podium Finish (-150) • Caesars Sportsbook

After a slow start to the season, Norris has turned up the heat in recent weeks.

The 24-year-old captured his first career F1 victory at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this month, becoming the first driver to defeat Verstappen this year in a race that he finished.

Norris has four podiums in his last five races, including three straight, finishing second behind Verstappen in Italy and China on either side of his win.

The British-Belgian has one previous podium in Monaco, finishing third in 2021. However, based on his current form, I expect him to add to that total this weekend.

Lewis Hamilton: Top-6 Finish (+130) • Caesars Sportsbook

Doubting a driver of Hamilton’s pedigree feels like a bad idea.

The seven-time Formula One World Drivers’ Championship winner has not enjoyed much success over the last few years. However, that has more to do with Mercedes and his car’s capabilities than Hamilton’s ability behind the wheel.

Still, the 39-year-old finished sixth in Italy and Miami and fourth at the 2023 Monaco GP. Hamilton hasn’t finished worse than eighth at his local race since 2009, coming inside the top-six on 10 occasions.

At plus-money odds, taking a chance on Hamilton to repeat that feat makes a lot of sense.
