The long wait for sports betting in Maine appears to be coming to an end!
After legalizing sports betting in May 2o22, Governor Janet Mills and legislators have set November 2023 as the launch date for retail and mobile sports betting.

As of now, none, but Caesars Sportsbooks has agreed to a partnership with three of the four indigenous tribes that constitutes the Wakanabi Nation - the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, the Mi’kmaq Nation, and the Penobscot Nation. The only tribe without an agreement is the Passamaquoddy.
